So after debating about whether to buy this for about three weeks, the price was right and i decided to take the plunge. I noted some reviews stated it was very difficult to put together, but with a bit of patience it really wasn’t that bad. However actually using this product day today is particularly difficult. There is no simple way to put it. I noted some reviews stated it was very difficult to put together, but with a bit of patience it really wasn’t that bad. However actually using this product day today is particularly difficult. There is no simple way to put it. You find the keys on one end of the products are very difficult to actually turn in a normal keyhole. The battery on this lasted about a month before needing recharging, and i was happy with how the tile itself functioned. But the swiss army knife design with the keys is an absolute pain, and after two months i stopped using it all together. I gave it to my friend who also stopped using it after a month because it was too much bother. Wonderful idea, but i would avoid buying. By yourself a normal tile on a normal hearing and you will be happy individual.
As someone having increasing trouble finding my things, i have found tile trackers extremely useful – especially with the location history letting you easily retrace your steps to where you last had it. This makes it even easier, as you don’t have a separate keyring that can come loose. It seems sturdy with 6 keys in it, and is really easy to assemble and configure. There are only two things that aren’t perfect – it doesn’t really work well with any keys that have off-centre holes like some padlock keys unless they are all the same offset (a very minor issue) and the keyring loop on the attached bottle opener seems poorly placed as actually attaching any keyrings to it hinders swinging the keys or bottle openers out.
This is a good idea in concept, but in reality it is full of flaws. Firstly setting it up is a pain with uk keys. I ended up having to make the keyring holes larger because they would not fit using a drill. For this reason alone, i at least advise you to shop around for a different brand. Secondly, the tile functionality is lacking. This is mainly due to bluetooth issues with regards to distance, but it is shocking. I only have to be in the other room and i get connectivity issues. However that could be a faulty unit itself.
Proskeys are much more manageable and comfortable in a pocket nowled is handyrings your phone on full volume even if the phone is on silent. App consumes little power in the background. Customisable ringers (though the choice is limited)upgraded version of the app shows you a circle indicating how close you are to your keys – very handy for when you can’t hear themconsattaching certain items to the keys means you can’t flip the bottle opener out and obstructs access to anything else on that end. Battery does not last as long as expected and i never see the supposed low battery light. I have a 3 weekly reminder to charge them now. Bluetooth range is limited so you often have to have the two devices in the same room for it to work. The app has the remain open in order for you to use your keys to locate your phone. Misctile ringer is just about loud enough to hear if keys are under a sofa cushion or fallen down behind furniture if you are close to it. The led (while handy) is no replacement for a torch. Bottom line:with the updated range of tiles i would rather buy a basic keysmart key organiser and attach a tile pro to it.
After experience with horrendous trackr devices that i (stupidly) purchased in bulk prior to xmas 2016 + gave to various family members, i swore that i would never again buy such a small and non-rechargeable bluetooth tracking device. As i already had a keysmart – i gambled that if this worked even ‘as well as having just changed battery in trackr’ – then i could just about justify the £. I can top up the battery charge anytime i think of it + therefore will not wait as long as supposed possible 3m depletion time. Torch is not suitable for normal torch use bit is more than adequate for ‘key into lock’ situations and other close-up emergency use. Torch makes value somewhat better, as the detection range of these bluetooth devices are rather pathetic (although so far i would rate tile as somewhat better than trackr).
Works well love the fact it’ll also help find you’re phone if it’s lost. Bit fiddly to put to together but i’d used a non tile version before. Love the tile feature so much i bought a tile match for my wallet as well. Also bought in a real so cracking price.
Replaced my old keysmart and tile. Like that, unlike a tile that you have to throw out after a year, this is fully rechargeable. Perfect way to keep my keys organised and always be able to find them. The torch is the cherry on top .

Not as good as tile pro

Don’t need to change each year like other TILE devices.

Cumbersome and annoying

I was under the impression these things were made of metal but unfortunately they seem to be made of rather flimsy but strongish plastic which for the price annoys me greatly and am worried it will get damaged. It can take mortis keys but they need to be placed in the middle and have nothing opposite otherwise they are pushed outalso it is not compatible with the keysmart clean keyif it was metal or stronger plastic and maybe 3-5mm wider and long enough to fit the cleankey which should also make it better accommodate mortis keys i’d give it a five star.
