Bought this for husbands xmas present. He had bought me one for my birthday and i loved it, so got one for him. It runs on a battery like normal watches so you don’t need to keep charging it. Can have the time displayed like a normal watch.
Very easy to use and great battery life.
Likes:-easy to use and rugged. (i work as a delivery guy and this has took some knocks but still works fine). Size – i like that it’s small, i dunno what the fascination is with these enormous watches/fitness trackers. Waterproof – i work outdoors and often get soaked, i’ve also kept this on by mistake in the shower. Dislikes:-battery – 11 months in and the battery has just died without warning. My local stores don’t seem to stock the battery either so i guess i’ll have to source one online. App – the mobile phone app is terrible (android – tried 2 different phones ). It works intermittently at best. I ended up buying a ant+ usb dongle and connecting it via my pc. Accuracy – as i predominantly us it as a pedometer i base my finding on this.
Easy to use, really comfortable to wear, good looking and simple app; perfect gps tracking. 10 times better than the fitbits. Ignore the people who say the app doesn’t sync??.It’s easy to sync i’ve never had a problem. The first time you just have to connect via bluetooth and pair like you do with any device.
Love it great value easy to use with phone, easy to log on phone, very happy that it is working for 12 months.
Had a vivifit 2, for a number of years and upgraded to a vivifit 4, this is simple and easy to use, nd more options although the digital display is to small which is a backward step in my mind, but this is likely to be for improved battery life. The plus about the vivovit for me is that you do not have to recharge it, if there were no other options i would probably have have opted for a smartwatch.
I expected more from garmin. This is a basic model but did what i expected. Seemed pretty accurate compared to other similar items i have, all of which were a lot cheaper. And that’s where the similarity ends. The cheap ones are still working. The button on this became unresponsive after a month or so before finally failing altogether along with the screen getting dim, which was nowhere near as bright and clear as the pictures would have you believe to start with. This was nothing to do with the batteries as i fitted fresh ones when i received it, and changed them again ‘ just in case’ when the unit started playing up. I prefer it to the fitbit i had due to it having a screen etc meaning you didn’t have to use the app to see what you’d been up to, but the problems with the screen and button have put me off getting another.
Fitness trackers seem to be everywhere today and of course there are many arguments for and against them which are often valid. The biggest negative is that they are inaccurate which, might be true but that does not in my view negate their benefits. They become the nagging partner in your brain telling you to move, in particular walk. And no matter what cobblers is spouted about various exercises, the main thing is to move. It makes no difference when it boils down to it when it comes to helping life an active life. Move a bit more is better and what i’ve found over the last four years is that a fitness tracker almost forces me to do that. Okay, i am by nature a person who is generally self motivated and i am a gym fan, but as i’ve got older i’ve found it easier to talk myself out of doing a bit more now and again.
But, smaller face than expected, not easy to read.
Had a vivofit 3 for several years. Loved the battery life, no fiddling about charging up every night as you have to with some activity trackers. The display was also great, easy to read in strong sunlight. The strap was awful but the vivofit 4 has cured that. The display is not so easy to read because the screen and characters are smaller.
Great technology; screen difficult to see, especially in bright light.
Simple and effective but can easily be tricked into thinking you are doing steps when you move your arm about in a certain way.

Had this just over six months now. The button, the one and only button, has stopped functioning. It has also developed a habit of freezing on the time screen. Thought maybe it was a battery issue so got new ones (which was a bit of a task). On opening the case i did find one of the two batteries was a bit corroded. No worries, in with the new ones. Button still not functioning. Lot of money for just six months use. Prior to failing it was fine. Did the job of being an all day activity tracker. Small size, claimed long battery life, had the features i needed. Won’t be getting another one.
I’ve had the tracker for a few days now, so i’ll update further down the line. Firs of all the design is minimalist, nothing fancy or garish, i like that. The screen is always on which is great because you can use it like a normal watch. The back light is all right, but nothing to be excited about. It seems to track better than what i had previously which was a letscom tracker. So far i haven’t lost any steps and also the tracker does intensity. The moveiq feature is great and while i haven’t taken it swimming it picks up on running and brisk walking. This would have been a 5 if the app connected to the tracker reliably. The connecting malarky is horrible and auto sync as was advertised doesn’t seem to work. I’ll update when i’ve had the tracker a bit longer.
Love the fact it’s not always on charge. Battery lasted for 16 months and got it changed at cobblers for £5, glad i’ve got one again.
Bought as a gift for family member.
I enjoy the fact that you don’t have to charge it. The app is cool, and links with other fitness tracker apps. Easy to sync, easy to set up. The strap is an improvement on previous versions, this one being a traditional wristwatch strap (like a belt). Easy to clean if water is trapped.

Great for activity tracking
Bought as a gift for my dad and he says it’s easy to use and set up to phone and just as accurate as my other fitness trackers. Bonus is to not have to charge as it states battery is good for a year.
I’m glad i didn’t keep this as garmin had a ransomware attack which rendered their devices useless for a week in august 2020. I also bought it for a heart rate monitor which this doesn’t do – my fault.
Best quality, longest lasting, cheapest to run, ease of use, menstrual tracking and sleep tracking amazing. The only odd thing about it is the date is forever stuck in american format, i. But that’s no points of this score, as it’s amazing otherwise and doesn’t bother anyone.
