The moto 360 sport is my first smart watch which i have used daily for two weeks. I had pre ordered with amazon and had a great deal with the usual high standard of posting. My main reasoning for getting this was to be able to run and listen to music without a need of a phone. As noted by another review, when i first went running the music skipped continually and the gps distance was out by nearly a km. Not the best start for my wants. Conversely, during this time i found the weight and look if he watch more and more appealing. Some of the gimmicks such as heart rate, messages, emails, what’s app and steps app being shown was beneficial. The strongest benefit being the ingenuis idea of when charging the phone it becames a sidebed clock. Unknowingly i had began to rely on the watch day to day when i had only purchased it for weekly running. After 10 days i began to have an intermittent message stating moto body had to be stopped.
I was entranced by the thought of being able to tell my watch to do things like send texts and call people. The first fifteen minutes were a blast, until i found my self constantly saying ‘ok google’ only to either find that 1) nothing happened or worse 2) i was heard, the watch would ponder and then a disconnected icon would appear. This was with my phone within 3 feet of the watch so i began to question the point of it all. I like the fitness monitoring and the ability to play music from the watch but having to charge it every day and remember to take it off prior to showering kind of puts a cramp on things. The frequent software crashes don’t help either ‘android wear has stopped responding ‘or some similar message. I really do , but it just isn’t value for money enough me yet. I will come back in a few years when or if things have improved.
After looking at several different fitness bands i ended up stretching my budget to a full blown smart watch and decided this was the best on the market. I didn’t fancy the standard leather strap type as i feel its trying to hard to be a designer watch which it clearly isn’t. Having a blackberry priv android phone i found the pairing and set up very easy out of the box and was quickly able to customise the clock face and set my health goals. All my notifications such as emails, text, whats app, bbm come through to the watch and being able to control my sonos and netflix is a added bonus. I almost didn’t buy the watch as the flat tyre at the bottom was a real turn off for me although now i honestly don’t even know its theresteps are fairly accurate although sometimes a little generous which i don’t really complain about when trying to hit by 12k goal a day. Battery lasts a good 24hr of usage and wireless charging is a nice touch. Only downside is the rubber catch starting peal due to every day friction.
Very comfortable and battery does last for the day. Charger is cool and makes charging a doddle. Only gripe bluetooth disconnects regally and it needs much better options to record gym work outs. But overall a very good watch.
Does everything i want (even tells the time). Would get 5 stars if battery life was better.
Amazing design i had a issue to buy other version (moto 2gen with metal case). But this silicone strap looks great with your performance t-shirt and also amazing with any business shirt. With wifi/bt/gps and any other features. More review will write later (too early to write good technical review – i’m user from 07/2016)from start a day at 8:30am to 7:30pm and also 1. 5h training (overall 15h of usage) with notifications and other stuff – battery show around 60% to 45% – depend of usage. Thats mean you could use your watch to late night and recharge when you go to bed. Tested & workingyes, silicone strap sometimes looks ‘dirty’ by small, any colours cotton and dust. But little bit wet finger/tissue will resolve issue for few days – this isn’t a problem. Happy with moto360 sport watch. Also in 90% will be possible to upgrade to to androidwear 2.

Great watch for training
(moto 360 sport)this is my third android wear watch. The 360 sport is nicely sized and comfortable to wear. The strap (black) collects some dust but if it’s like my previous watch this will get better over time. I like the hr functions and they tracked a walk last night without any issues – the gps tracked my route perfectly and seems to acquire a signal quite quickly. As usual i’ve ambient screen turned off to extend battery life and look on target for close to two days. Charging is wireless and takes around two hours (look on amazon for a reasonably priced second charger to have at work etc).
Not bought from amazon, but direct to go with the motog4 bought at the same time. No issues at all up to now and i wonder if some reviewers actually read the manual. It encourages you to wear the watch as much as possible then it can learn your routine and averages, but it seems some cant have been doing this. Do this then it can adapt to you and you wont go far wrong, and make sure you download the free apps from the play store for this on your android phone (android wear, moto body and connect apps). If you only wear this during the day, turn it off when you are sleeping or not using it and the battery will last for two, maybe three days. I’m writing this on tuesday night and i last charged it on saturday morning and it still has 25% charge left, but i didn’t use it for one day in between. All is fine up to date and it integrates well other apps on the phone, especially spotify. I am using it as a monitor to improve my fitness, which at the moment is low, and at 50 i need all the help i can get. Just remains to be seen if amazon are gracious enough to publish this seeing as i didn’t buy it here.
Great product, excellent service, highly recommendable seller, many thanks.
I bought this watch else where and i’m on my 3rd android wear watch lg g watch, sony smart watch 3 and the 360 sport and i can say its the best of the bunch by far. Please don’t listen to the fluff and lint people as all watches i have had with a silicon band have all attracted bits on the strap this comes with this material if it had been something else it would had people moaning. (it’s not as bad as they are saying) battery can’t fault it should get most people 2 days you just have to lower the brightness and turn off the location (gps) off which is simple to do and if you are not wearing just put it in to cinema mode ( turns display off and notifications) as for quality is very good nice presentation box and quailty screen with metal bezel. The software is simple to use is very smooth and has plenty of options with the built in heart rate monitor at the minute google fit seems the most accurate and fit syncs well withe moto body app. If i had one gripe that it should have a removable band for the price you should at least have a option.

First off if you are buying a smart watch do as much research as you can, to find the right watch for you. I bought the sport due to the built in gps, but sport is a bit generous as i would like to be able to get a sports watch wet. It also really only tracks running natively , although can be used for cycling with strava which i guess most cyclists would prefer. Comfortable on the wrist although the strap does seem to be a magnet for lintbattery life is ok, gets me through from 6am to 10pm with about 40% power left although this is not using the built in gps.
Great watch, mediocre battery life when recording sport, watch strap will break with normal usage. Google it: moto 360 sport strap broken.
Only android smart clock with gps and pulse built in.
Strap get dirty quite easily but can live with that. Planned android wear 2 also.
Exactly what i was looking for. A running mate way better that an smart wrist band.
It is a good smart watch, as the name suggests goes very well if you are in for sports. Never miss any important call or message specially when you are away form your phone playing any game but do need to be connected.
