I found the yardage function acted as a virtual caddy. It told me what to do and i stopped thinking. Result being more consistency. Possibly over specked for me as the message process is definitely a distraction which i have stopped usingotherwise excellent product.
Uses it every time he plays golf.
Am still learning all the things it does but is well worth persevering.

I received the watch quickly and the watch itself looks lovely on your wrist, not heavy or bulky. The watch works fine, the battery lasts up to 2 rounds and the layup/dogleg feature is very good and the yardage has helped me with my game a great deal. However in the last few months the bluetooth notifications have stopped working. I have an iphone 6 running the latest ios and it doesn’t pair with my iphone at all – it worked brilliantly when i got the watch, can anyone help?the bluetooth feature was one of the main reasons i chose this watch instead of the lower models and its very frustrating.

The only problem is the charger. The style is like a large clip and it is a pain slotting in the watch to the charger.

Just used it on the scottish golf coast. . Longniddry, moreton hall, gullane 2, kilspindie & duddingston, all top notch courses. The s4 was bang on and a great help.
The instructions are poor and i struggle to get it to work consistently. Sometimes it works fine but buttons get touched in play and mess up the settings.
Arived when expected easy to set up only had about four games with itbut its a pretty good piece of kit still getting used to it would recommend to anyone.

My husband is really pleased with this watch. He hasn’t used all the features as yet, but is working his way through them. I would recommend a mains charger as charging through my computer worked but the charging stopped if the computer went to ‘sleep’.
Bought as a gift for a special birthday and recipient was very pleased.
I had always relied on phone apps to provide gps distance but this is so much better, easier to use and more accurate than the ones i had used. Initial set up could be a bit clearer but once you have installed garmin express on your pc then it is fairly straight forward.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I have little concept of yardage and so this watch has helped me enormously with distances and consequently club selection. The accompanying booklet isn’t particularly helpful and it’s a case of working out how to use it when on the course. I bought this model not for the extra bells and whistles, but for the longer battery life. I also find this very comfortable to wear as a watch in the day. Not sure why you need about five swipes in order to unlock the screen and when seeking support from garmin customer services you really need to be on a course to see the watch in working mode, which is tricky.
