This is a nice keyboard/case for the i-pad 2, the keyboard seems of good quality, as is the whole case. Unfortunately, it does not fit the first i pad 1. As i soom found out, after being tolderroniously that the ipad 1 and 2 are the same , it was just the innards which had been updated. I returned it to amazon, and have gained a refund, which is pretty good as it was my error in ordering the wrong article.

If you’re looking for a keyboard that does what it’s meant to do then this is it. The keys are small yet they still feel like a proper keyboard when you press the keys as they spring back. Also, it surprisingly doesn’t scratch the screen so it is well protected in the case. Although it is quite heavy compared to the ipad itself; it’s still easy to transport and there is more to grip so you have less of a chance of dropping it. The case itself is easy to get in and out of and stays there well when you need it to. The magnetic strip that connects the ipad to the keyboard is pretty much instant and you’ll be on your way in no time at all. It’s easy to set up and if it’s confusing the manual inside the box answers all of your questions and if not then there are plenty of contact info given to solve your problem. Overall i think this case is smart, stylish and does the job incredibly well.

The keyboard is nice to use, and i can write at almost the same speed on it as on a full size keyboard. Comes with built in function keys too, such that pressing fn + 1 e. Includes other standard apple function keys, such as play/pause, seek, and volume controls.

Very convenient to use like a mini laptop or fold it right back and use the ipad solo. Yes a little bulkier than just a flip cover, but i very soon forgot about it if using the tablet only. Plus i would say offers more protection as the covers are robes. It is also makes a lightweight pairing with the ipad. As long as your bluetooth is on, and you sync it first time for ‘anker. ‘, the anker picks it up automatically when folded onto the magnetic bar. This also keeps the ipad held secure in the upright position, and isn’t easily/accidentally detached during normal use or handling. I would recommend it if you are interested in this functionality.

Very pleased with my purchase, only slight complaint top row of keys slightly to near the ipad screen, if you are not careful it is quite easy to touch the screen re-positioning the curser. Some times you don’t notice and carry on typing.

I like this bluetooth keyboard alot. It has taken me a little while to get used to the keypad but that’s my deal. The price if keen formthenproduct. The ipad fits securely and the case feels sturdy and safe. The two units hook up and talk to each other pretty much instantly. I don’t always keep the ipad in the case when i take it away from my desk and have bought a separate cover for those times but that’s because i don’t always need the keyboard. I imagine if i went away for a period of time that i would take the case with me for the keyboard of course but also the added protection. I haven’t had it long enough to comment on battery life but all in all i am happy.

This keyboard is just great. Simple to set up and it just works. It is the second i’ve bought. The first did stop working recently after about 3 years hard work. The only issue i have is that i find some wi-fi zones interfere with the bluetooth connectivity. The old one suffered from this and would stop working if i connected to the train wi-fi. The new one is effected by this issue as was the last. You have to forget the device and reconnect to it.

For me the angle that it provides for the ipad screen is fine, but my wife finds it uncomfortable. As with other anker products, it is very well-made. Only niggle is that the delete key takes a lot more pressure than the others.

Bought this on special offer. Enhances my ipad 2 air and gives it the feel of a laptop. Keyboard responds really well, resistance/rebound from keys is really satisfying to type with – feeling like a regular keyboard as opposed to those horrible flat key pad things (full of technical jargon, me). I like the feel of a proper keyboard and this does it for me. Bluetooth syncing is so easy and the case protects the ipad when closed. Well done anker (a brand i hadn’t previously heard of).

The item arrived very promptly, i am again very satisfied by amazon service. The keys are not full sized but will do the work. The construction of the case is high quality. My only remark would be on the fatness of the case. It makes the ipad 2 air 3 times fatter and while holding is as tablet can seem quite awkward. If you do not have a problem with that, then this might be a good solution for desktop experience in writing on your ipad. Yes its heavy too, just more than a kilo with the ipad inclusive. The dimensions and heaviness of the case is the reason why i am giving 4 stars to that case.

I bought this because the logitech equivalent i’d ordered from apple with a new ipad was doa. This was half the price of the other product, and it’s excellent, so i’m delighted with my choice. I’d previously used a cheap & cheeerful bluetooth keyboard with my old ipad, and therefore assumed that, as a writer, i’d never find a combo that allowed me to leave the laptop at home for extended periods. A comfortable, usable keyboard that always finds the bluetooth connection quickly, and seems to run for ages between charges. My only niggle with it: when the ipad’s locked onto the magnetic bar, it’s a little awkward to use the numeric/punctuation keys – but a small price to pay for a lightweight, sturdy & effective product.

I have found that the this keyboard gives a far greater sense or really being in control of the document instead of having half the screen obscured by the touch screen. The quality of the keyboard is equal to or even surpasses my bluetooth mini mac apple keyboard. Some of the icons are quite small and could do with a larger format map and description.

Ideal for travelling and keeping my ipad secure. Good fit and not so tight that i can’t remove my ipad from the case when necessary, which was the problem i had with another case i tried. I knew the anker case would be perfect for my ipad air 2 as i had previously bought an anker case for my ipad mini which was excellent. It was also so easy to set up the keyboard.

Look, i’m sure this is an excellent case etc, and the keyboard looks and feels excellent. Plus excellent battery life. But i use my ipad for writing, and i just could not get used to the angle of the screen. Far too upright, which meant i was sort of hunched down. Trouble is i’m writing for two or three hours a day. A shame, for me – perhaps other people would not find the upright screen too much of a problem. I’ll be looking for something with more flexibility as far as the angle of the screen is concerned.

Excellent product,nice looking and well made, holding ipad tight with no chance of it slipping out of the cover;quite light as well. The keyboard is neat, easy to type,not to loud. I had to contact a customer service as i had a problem with bluetooth connection which was due to my own ignorance. I cannot speak high enough of the support and service i’ve received,if only every customer service was that helpful and attentive dealing with problems would be a pleasure. This is an outstanding product for the price. I originally wanted an ipad pro with the smart keyboard case but the price just wasn’t appealing. When i seen this case, i immediately decided to turn my original ipad air into an ipad pro-like device. The keys have great travel and feel really comfortable to use. One added bonus (which i tried and tested on the ipad pro’s smart keyboard case) is that all the keyboard shortcuts you’re used to work perfectly fine. Example: cmd+tab brings up an app switch like on the mac, cmd+spacebar brings up spotlight search regardless of what app you’re using, and all the regular cut copy paste functions are available using the command key. Another bonus which you cannot find on the ipad pro’s keyboard case is media controls such as play/ pause and volume up/ down. If you’re looking for an ipad keyboard case than this is the way to go. The angle seems to be fine for my needs despite what others have said. The only thing i dislike is how the ipad is held in to the case.

Like many others that have reviewed this product, i am also writing the review with the product itself. I wanted to get some more functionality out of my air 2 as i have been using it more and more for emails, notes and word documents with the occasional spreadsheet. For £35 i couldn’t be any happier. It does add bulk as you can imagine, but it’s not huge, i would say that if i was to go on long journeys and i just want to play games and watch videos i would pop in back into it’s ‘smart case’ as there would likely be no call for long typing anyway. Keys take a little getting used to as it is quite compact but they feel great to use, nice amount of travel in them and as per the point of it, makes typing easier and faster :)with this product i am certainly getting more out of my ipad, my wife and i missed having a keyboard and had considered maybe a netbook or chromebook to have in the lounge for documents and spreadsheets but this has filed the gap nicely at a fraction of the cost. It’s easy to set up, easy to use and so far has a great battery life.

I have bought several anker products and when i needed a case for my new ipad i looked at what anker had to offer and compared it to what others were offering. Typically there were much cheaper items out there and a few more expensive but i opted for this one and was not disappointed. It took seconds to install and seconds to pair it up. The cover is sturdy but lightweight and seems to be resistant to marking easily. The keyboard is obviously only as wide as the device but i soon got used to it. The keys are light to the touch but positive in action. The only minor issue was i thought the magnetic strip the ipad ‘sticks’ to feels a little weak. I ‘tested’ the grip over a soft surface to check how well it held on to the device and to make sure there’s no danger of it coming detached. The ipad does come off the magnet quite easily but the frame the ipad is ‘clipped’ into grips it well enough to stop anything disastrous occurring. I believe this as a worth while and fit for purpose case and would definitely recommend it to others.

Bought this two years ago, and it was great, but it stopped connecting properly. Anker are such a brilliant company that they replaced it even though it was out of warranty. Their excellent customer service is the reason why i always buy anker products – everything is of great quality, really well priced, and in the rare event that there’s a problem, they are brilliant to deal with.

Had a cheap version of this type of cover which had a rubber keyboard which was not that responsive, but it did the job this anker case is quite a different story. When i bought my new ipad air i looked at the keyboard cases in the apple shop they were £85. The anker case is over half the price from amazon and are indistinguishable. The keys are quiet but have a good feel. The case has magnetic feature which turns off the ipad. Despite the size of the keyboard the keys are well spaced and easy to use. Installation is very easy and when connected to the magnetic portion automatically turns on the keyboard, it then connects to bluetooth immediately so after initial set up there’s no more to do. Charge with supplied cable from usb the battery lasts for ages. A good buy think before buying from apple this keyboard is practically the same as the apple one.

I changed tablets so needed a new anker keyboard. It’s even better than the last one. Connects easily and didn’t even need charging at the start. As a touch typist it’s perfect for me. The case protects the tablet well and the magnetic strip seems to keep the screen upright easily. Very pleased with my purchase.

There’s decent travel for all the buttons, and 23 function keys, all of which function beautifully. A bit upsetting that there’s no app switcher function, but i don’t personally mind. Somethings to note however, are that the only reason i can use this comfortably is that i have small hands, and i don’t work on the go. I am typically at a library or at my desk. Second, this is a relatively small add on, and as such there’s no area of palm rest. And a bit annoying is that it doesn’t show you how much battery you have remaining or how much you have to charge. But overall, its a great device. Its very light, the outer cover is protective, and while the looks won’t dazzle anyone, it certainly doesn’t look bad. Best thing overall, is how great it works and feels given the price.

I have been using the anker folio case for ipad air2 for about a month now, and am pretty pleased with it. The ipad fits nicely into the sturdy plastic clips, but i can get it out quite easily when needing to use it without the case. The keyboard is very nice to type on – have been using particularly with onenote to make meeting notes etc. Bluetooth connection simple and reliable. The connection will time out after a period (which is good, as i imagine it saves battery), but just nudging the ipad on the magnetic strip which holds it up causes it to reconnect. The case feels solid and well made. My only criticism is that it is a little heavy, and it would have been nice to get a choice of colours, but it is certainly good value for money.

I am really happy with this product – the case is sturdy and professional and the keyboard is brilliant. Great size to type and the keys are resilient and strong. The price is also a massive win compared to apple products. My only dissapointment was the charger was not in the pack and as i didn’t check for 3-4 weeks i felt i left it too late to complain. On the positive side i have just bought a replacement which cost 2 quid so again not a major concern. Would have given 5 stars but the charger missing. Double check when your product arrives.

The product was delivered promptly and was well packaged. There is a short, helpful pamphlet on how to set it up, plus tips on shortcuts and additional features. It was, in fact, extraordinarily easy to set up and it worked first time. It does everything it says ‘on the box’, efficiently and reliably. Because it is used on our ipad air 2 which is kept exclusively at home, we keep the anker case attached all the time. It would suit the traveller as it feels solid and robust. Should one wish to use the ipad air 2 separately, removing the case is not difficult. Some have commented on the angle at which the screen is set and the fact that this is fixed rather than adjustable. Neither my wife nor i found any problem with this. Likewise, the keyboard is easy to use.

This makes using the ipad a joy. It pretty much turns for ipad into a mini laptop. The keys are a good size for basic and small bursts of typing. If i had to type something all day i may use a bigger keyboard but if you need to get something done or write a blog that will only take an hour or so then this is perfect. Looks really neat and the fact you can still use it flat as a tablet while in the case was a deal breaker. Comes with a charger unlike other cases and i am just generally very happy with the product.

I bought the anker bluetooth folio keyboard case blind due to the quality of one of their little cube speakers. The case does double the thickness of your ipad, however i feel it is worth it for the convenience and added usability. This device pretty much turns my ipad air 2 into a laptop. The case is sturdy, turns on your ipad when you open it, and only activates the keyboard when you dock the ipad magnetically in landscape keyboard mode. It’s easy to pair, and only requires pairing once. If you leave your bluetooth turned on, it activates automatically when you dock your device. Typing is fast and fluid, it’s a uk layout to a point (£ sign where it should be, however @ symbol is over 2 rather than ‘). Overall, for people who enjoy writing on their device, this is essential.

Been using it for 5 months now. Ditched my laptop, and using only my ipad with this casing. What’s great is that the top of the keyboard keys are flush with the grey sides. So if i’m using my ipad as a tablet, i can put it down on the keyboard side, and the keys won’t touch the table or get damaged. In the same way, i’ve held it up like a tablet with my fingers on the keys at the back, but it’s not a problem. Very good cover; it looks like folio case. Very good casing and keyboard, and the added weight is very reasonable.

I decided to reorder as, after reading other reviews, i was hoping that i just got a rogue product. Luckily the second key board case arrived and works well. I am very happy with the quality – both the case and the keyboard are robust and i have had no problems, so far, connecting the keyboard to my ipad. Overall i am pleased with the product. It’s four stars, not five, as i had to return the first because of the issues below. Waited with anticipation after reading the good reviews. Out of the box it felt and looked well built, with good keys and a pretty robust case.

This is a brilliant keyboard for the ipad. I love the magnetic close which triggers the auto shut off. Keyboard’s comfortable to type on. Bluetooth connects with no problems at all. There is a gap between the keyboard and the screen so no worry of the scratches on the screen. I am writing this review using this keypad and it feels very secure like a laptop. The only thing i have noticed is when using the volume buttons on the side or plugging in the adapted, it feels slightly tight to get to but not a problem at all. Works very well and keeps the ipad well protected.

I’ve been using this keypad for a while now and i’m really pleased with it. It folds and protects the screen but doesn’t totally encase the ipad. I have therefore purchased a cheap ipad pocket cover from the pound shop which is stretchy enough to put the whole thing in. It does of course make the ipad that little bit heavier but what would you expect as you have an extra keyboard?.Works well for me and i’m glad i invested in this product.

It has been until now a fantastic tool. The best thing i ever got for my ipad. However, after six month , ie now , the space bar stopped completly to work which makes the keyboard totally useless. Could someone please contact me. I have tried everything, regarching it etc. All the other key work fine appart from the space bar and the arrows. Please seller or anker get in touch , would be more than happy to give a five star to this product. Bought to replace my previous anker keyboard which fell foul to a glass of juice (still worked after its bath but certainly not safe for future charges of the internal battery). Keyboard comes with uk key layout but with a us positioning (well mac keyboard) of the @ and ‘ keys. Ipad is held securely during use and transporting, can take moderate knocks and thanks to the strong magnetic corners the case does not have the annoying habit of the first generation cases to pop open at will. Case is flexible enough for you to be able to fold backwards to use in tablet form yet quickly snaps back and is detected via bluetooth to use as a keyboard again. Number of function keys are also present to simulate ipad functions such as locking, home button, play/skip tracks, brightness and cut/paste to mention a few. On the whole it is a very good case that adds decent protection to your ipad air but certain cons outweigh the pros listed below which is why i have rated it a 4/5 stars. Prosanker build qualitygood protection and excellent fitexcellent battery lifeability to fold backwards to use as tabletdecent keystrokesconsweight – adds a fair amount at 640g which is what an ipad 2 weighs without a case. With ipad weight rises to 1. 4 lb in old moneyunable to adjust the angle of the screen, which is fine for quick typing jobs but for longer pieces angle adjustment would be a plustendency to catch the ipad screen when using the row of numerical buttons causing screen roll and field jumps on websites.

This keyboard case for the ipad air 2 is absolutely fantastic and looks spectacular on my ipad air 2. The item was delivered by amazon fba same day delivery and was delivered at about 21:45pm at night, great services from amazon. The case just makes the onscreen keyboard on the ipad no use as it turns the ipad into a mini laptop. Pairing the keyboard is extremely easy just put the ipad into the case and make sure the surface of the ipad is touching the magnetic strip and the case keyboard just turns on. Then simply go into settings and click on bluetooth and pair the devices.

I do like it but it does sometimes not connect and i have to repeatedly press the fn and bluetooth key, not that often but enough. When sky went down for 18 hours or so, phones and internet here. – it did not want to reconnect, but after me switching on and off bluetooth in settings, and the fn key etc it did, it is a vast improvement on that hopeless on-board keyboard. The only thing i would like is a place to put my stylus, my fingers are too fat and bent with arthritis to hit the wee keys sometimes, so i need to use a stylus. I shall probably get some kind of adhesive pocket and stick it on the case.

This item provides great protection for my ipad air. It also looks good and does not add too much weight to the device. The keyboard is adequate – if like me you have sausage fingers you need to try and be a little more precise with key strokes. The genius part of this add on, n my view, is the way the keyboard sparks up when it is positioned in the groove. If you only want to use it as a rest to watch video content with bluetooth headphones or speaker you will need to turn of bluetooth for the keyboard. All in all a great purchase up to usual high standards of an anker product.

The keyboard is cool and works great. I did like the feature that when you wrap it around to the back (the keys then face out), it disables the keys, so you can happily press them accidentally without anything being invoked on the ipad. My only annoyance with the device is that i would like a way to fold it into ipad on the front and smooth back (keyboard part pressing against the actual ipad’s back). I won’t take a star off for this, though, because i don’t think it’s possible. It flips open, magnets into place and then turns the keyboard on.
