Seriously delighted with my garmin. I appreciate my new garmin, the only issue i am a bit unhappy about is the absence of application for the blackberry cellphone which i have. I have set the application on my husbands galaxy j5 and it performs flawlessly. As previous feedback the display screen could do with becoming a bit lighter but if you press the remaining hand button is does light up the screen for a handful of seconds. Typically it is a bit darkish when it can be not in use but i suppose which is how it retains it is really battery lifestyle so prolonged. Delivered when said and good quality item. Most of the time it does the job on more than 1 occasion i’ve had to re load the app to my phone as it says not connected and won’t update. When i check settings bluetooth is up and running as i never turn it off so have to ‘re boot other than that it’s ok. Does alot more than the higher priced fitness watches. Doesnt count exercise unless you tell it or tell you fat burn. It’s a good item but sometimes loses the sleep part of it. Very happy with this fitness tracker. I’ve bought other chinese trackers in the past and they usually became faulty within the first week or did not work at all. Easy to use and very useful. . No need to be a mobile zombie to check my message (what’s app and text). If i could turn back time, the silver face with brown leather straps would have looked better (and cheaper) than the all black model. After looking around and watching reviews decided to go for this watch due to it having the best display out of those i looked at. I bought this after having a pebble time and although i liked the pebble time i was viewing it more as a non serious smartwatch due to the display style. I am not knocking the pebble time and it is a very good watch, but wanted something more related to google os. I checked a lot of different fitness trackers and settled on this one. Really glad i did as it’s brilliant for the price. Can’t see why anyone would pay more money just for a name brand when this is actually better. It’s full colour and the information it gives you, which covers pretty much everything you could want, is as accurate as these things can be. I know this as my husband has a very expensive garmin one as he does triathlons and needs a good one and they compare well. Admittedly i think any of them struggle to differentiate between steps recorded when doing combat training where you actually step back and forth for each move versus recording you doing burpees as that probably only gets recorded as one step and yet it’s probably burning more calories. Update: screen seems to have failed after a month and a half. Not downgrading review yeti loved my ms band 2 but it reached the end of life as a product so i needed another watch. I ideally wanted the activity and heart tracking, comprehensive notifications, and, ideally, customisation of the band, without paying ridiculous amounts. This is reasonably close to hitting these hopes, and was a total bargain. I quite like the return of real hands :)i was able to customise the background with one of my photos, pick what apps’ notifications i want to see (though i haven’t figured out how to see details of the content of alerts beyond the first few words). There is the option to have quick responses preset to pick from, which i haven’t yet got to test. It can control camera shutter, some music apps, which means the bulky phone can stay in the bag more often. I did not like that the watch came without instructions and therefore we had to rely on the internet to seek help. We ended up putting a pay as you go sim card into the phone and opening up the watch when it was not necessary to do so. The no instructions caused us not to use the watch since purchase and remain something yet to resolve by reopening the watch to sort out the mess. This tracker watch has proven a real hit with our 7 year old son and us as parents. So accurate at tracking his movements we can even see when he’s gone from one neighbour’s house to the next. He loves that he can check in with us whenever he needs to and vice versa. We don’t want him to have a phone at such a young age and this is an excellent compromise. I’m not the most technically minded and benefitted from the excellent technical support. We had an incident which resulted in damaged watch face.
