If i could turn back time, the silver face with brown leather straps would have looked better (and cheaper) than the all black model.
After looking around and watching reviews decided to go for this watch due to it having the best display out of those i looked at. I bought this after having a pebble time and although i liked the pebble time i was viewing it more as a non serious smartwatch due to the display style. I am not knocking the pebble time and it is a very good watch, but wanted something more related to google os. I’ve had the watch for nearly a month and after sorting through apps that suited my needs, uninstalling the ones that drained the battery settled on the ones that give i mainly use. I set the watch with the display off and display brightness and use the boost brightness function when needing the display in brighter conditions, after finding i could kill the battery in less than day. Using one of my favourite wear apps, wear battery stats, it showed i could get two days without charging. I tweaked my apps after finding wear widgets which is great for controlling your phone from the watch or viewing your most used widgets on the watch and have noted at times i possible could get 4 days off charge, but that would even out to 2 day over the course of the day. I wanted the watch to last the day due to working a 12 hour shift and it has surpassed this loosing around 1. Today got up, got to work and the battery had fallen to 83% and not sure why i restarted the watch, at around 8am and the battery then was at 81% and stayed there for two hours and still had not gone down.
Being a user rather than a technology nut, i was annoyed when this item wouldn’t work on my beloved blackberry q10; so i changed to a samsung a3, which is excellent, so no regrets. My local o2 shop spent an hour not getting the watch to talk to my phone, so i took it home and ignored it for few days. Having found ‘factory reset’, i followed the instructions and it all worked fine. After a few days, i noticed that the watch had mystic powers. Whilst in its charging cradle overnight, it tracked a mysterious 44 steps. The next night it recorded 744 steps and the next 1744 steps – which struck me as a peculiar numbers; then the ‘steps’ and ‘cal’ stopped working at all. Unfortunately i have been ill and unable to get out ever since, preventing my returning it – which i will. It’s a great pity because this is a fun example of modern technology, perhaps i’ll have more luck with the replacement?.

I find it useful but it is a lot fatter than i would have liked.
Absolutely brilliant, you can see why it consistently wins best android wear watch in all the reviews. Great screen (best resolution of all the android watches), battery life of approx two days depending on how you set it up, lovely little charging pad to rest it on overnight to charge.
I love the quality of the screen and the housing, still in immaculate condition despite wearing it every day for 4 months and few accidental drops/knocks.
Fantastic product, however, this watch is over a hundred pound cheaper via amazon. Com which is an absolute disgrace.
This is the smartwatch i always wanted. A lot of apps, thousands of watchfaces each for every occasion, fast, hd coulor touchscreen. I have it for about 2 months and the only thing i get are the best of comments. Few realise that it isnt a real watch due to it’s high quality materials.
After initially spending days trying all the configurations for the moto 2 watch at motomaker and almost ordering it twice i just couldn’t over look the ‘flat tyre’ at the bottom of the screen and the fact they’d used lcd rather than oled. Then i saw a few unboxing videos for the huawei watch, which were all in german for some reason. Then reviews from the us started to appear and i started to really get the impression that this huawei was the premiere android watch. The flagship android wear device (yes i know tag have released one to but the tag’s price is eye watering). I watched video review after review on youtube since early october. But the price seemed high compared to the moto. Then once i compared the specs in terms of material and the fact this huawei looks like a nice ‘non-smart’ watch anyway and the fact that there is a yet unused speaker inside this device and the fact that huawei got the contract for the new google nexus device i started to really believe that is was genuinely the device google had hoped would carry the android wear platform. So anyway i ordered the black stainless steel version. Its not as big on my wrist as i worried it would be. It looks like a normal nice watch. Oh and before i ordered it i wanted to check that thing’s like viber and whatsapp would work it. Which u can browse and control from your wrist. Oh and then i went for an appointment in the car. I started to get traffic updates on my wrist. With the option to activate navigation. Then i got my teams football scores on my wrist. And then with wrist gesture i started to be able to read my whatsapp messages and swipe left and hit reply then i just talked into my watch and speech to text allowed me to have full whatsapp conversations without getting my phone out. Then i started to play with the watch faces. But there are some free ones on the play store which are epic.
Looks and feels like a real watch. Battery lasts two days on one charge.
Reasonable battery time (approx 40 hours can be squeezed to 45 hours) but avoid app launchers as they severly reduce this. Easy to set up and add apps via android phone. Strap not to difficult to adjust if done with care.
Early smartwatch but still one of the very best. Seller was also brilliant and with very fast despatch.
Best watch i ever had, is leagues ahead of its competition. The ability to play music, make calls and audio notes is just fantastic. Expect to get 2 days battery if you have the brightness set to 2 (with is good in most situations), you can push to 3 days if you disable wifi (as you’ll go though your phone anyway) and wrist actions.
