Wont be disappointed apart from no gps swim only pool.

It is brilliant value for money. Keeps me motivated and is clear to use. Love the fact that i can answer calls and read my text messages instantly from it instead of having to search around in my bag for my phone. Gps feature is great for triathlon training but only downfall it has is that it can’t really be used for open water swimming. Would highly recommend this watch.

But she wanted something smaller on the wrist and so it was returned.

Works fine after a week of use and have been going swimming every day, syncs perfectly to s7 edge. Good battery life and easy use.

I enjoyed my watch thoug i have problems getting it on ‘sleep ‘ and register the sleeping time on my pc.

Likes; good battery life easily programmed and easily customised to suitdislike: instruction manual, it took a while to familiarise with how to operate.

Great watch, bought for my wife, very easy to use she loves it and has already ordered a variety of different straps as they are so easy to change.

You can connect through garmin with friends and compete at steps, running distances, swimming, cycling and golf. The watch picks up gps very quick. The app to look at your stats is very easy to set up and i find addictive to check how my friends are getting on throughout the week.

Does everything i could ask for. Im a very sporty person so its perfect for keeping track of all my activities and the battery life is great.

I had one of these devices myself, and i’ve recently bought one for my wife. We’re both keen runners (although some people would probably say joggers or maybe even stragglers). Previously, we’ve both had older garmin gps watches. In comparison to my old garmin forerunner 305 – which i’ve pictured as a size comparison – these new vivoactive watches are a revelation. You just stick it on your wrist and forget its there. Waterproof, long battery life and compact/light weight. The user interface on the watch is simple to use. Just two hardware buttons, and then rest is done via the touchscreen. I found the screen easy to read and use. Gps gets a fix quickly, and seems to be as accurate as the watch it replaced (despite its diminutive size).

Simply put a corking bit of kitsets up very simply with an i device but has issues talking to android devices. Not sure why but its probably down to having an old phone. In usage though you can’t fault it. Anything for 100 smackers that can tell me my stroke rate and distance in the pool gets a thumbs up from me. The pedometer is about as accurate as all the rest and the other functions are top drawer. As a training aid it works well. Nice little things are the additional watch faces you can add via the app and the some of the widgets. The latter can be hit and miss ( like the return to car app ) but by and large, they function well. Some complain about this but i think garmin have played well here and have only allowed one partnership with a fitness app. Being a leader in the field, its a good choice and the watch speaks to the app so provides an accurate cross flow of data. Ie when you run it will tot up the calories with the pies you have eaten. When it comes to notifications of emails and messages, i haven’t got that configured cos guess what, i’ll look at my phone. Its not my thing and its for wearing as a watch ( looks great ) and aiding in fitness.

I love this watch, and after having this for over 6 months the band is still very white. I feel lost without this now.

Got this in black friday sale and just love it. Easily connects up to sync with phone and counts your activity levels throughout the day, vibrating to remind you to move. Records runs really well and i have london marathon to run this year. V glad i chose this model as was unsure which to go for.

Bought as a present – went down a treat.

It does what it says ,i did have a problem trying to pair it. I finally got it to pair using garmin express.

I am not very good with gadgets etc as i tend to lose interest when things aren’t straight forward. I have only had this a couple of weeks but it is so easy to use and check out your activity. Brilliant for recording my swimming activity times etc.

Love my watch, one point though – the keeper on the strap broke after 6 months.

Had this watch since dec 2015 and it’s been very reliable. I came to update it recently to the vivoactive 3 and that when it became apparent how really good this watch is as it works. The va3 simply fails on so many areas where this original excels at. Connecting to external sensors is reliable and easy. The bluetooth to phones can be a bit erratic (same as newer models) but it seems to depend on the phone. Overall, simple and works well. Shame there is no optical heart rate monitor.

Love my new garmin and met with my expectations. Very quick delivery and really impressed with it. Light to wear and easy to use.

Difficult to see so sold it on.

Better than i watch as waterproof and better than other multi sport watches as syncs to phone and gives you notifications.

Very good does everything i wanted it to do.

Bought this as a gift works perfectly, waterproof and sinks well with galaxy s5. Took a little while to get hang of.

Was happy with it until the plastic piece holding the strap down came off. Bit flimsy and not very hard wearing.

I purchased this watch for my son and he loved it. He use to handle his time and call me or his mum sometimes and we can call him back. It look nice and easy to use. I bought this for christmas present and i’m so happy that is really useful for everyday and less worries when we’re going out sometimes she running around and this is very helpful and easy to find her becuase it’s watch i’m not worried she’s gonna lose it the app is easy to find and set up and accurate every time.
