CPR Call Blocker CPR Guardian II Smartwatch For Children Wanting Independence and Parents Knowing They Are Safe At All Times : battery life an issue

This was the best watch i could find using the internet. Nb the battery life although initially seemingly ok reduces quickly. The accuracy of the location finder lags behind the actual position there are better ways eg some phone location finders are more accurate but rely on the user keeping the mobile with them. However this is still probably the best one can do in terms of current watches but hopefully the issues highlighted can be improved.

Bought for our dad, 80’s with recent diagnosis of alzheimer’s. He’s never had a mobile but really likes his new watch – especially when his grandchildren called it a ‘spy’ watch. We’ve changed the display to analogue which he prefers and he automatically wears it just like he did with his ‘normal’ watch. He can make and receive calls now. Best thing is the gps, just in case. We haven’t had to located him yet (thankfully) but have tested it out and it’s pretty accurate, certainly good enough to find him if necessary. Cps were extremely helpful on live chat with a couple of queries and then over the phone. Good communication regarding delivery, which was prompt and no problems. Sim came already fitted in the watch, which was good, and it had a few pounds credit pre-loaded which was a nice touch because we could test it out.

Battery runs low too quickly.

The tracking device and pulse monitor are good. The step counter only works if you are striding out over a distance, no use for monitoring the activity of an elderly housebound person. As a watch it it fine the emergency button is unreliable. I tried it out on many occasions the device said it was phoning and no phone rang. Then on a few occasions my mum accidentally phoned me. I was very concerned that the device said it was me and my phone did not ring.

Bought the guardian 1 works very well outdoors indoors is suspect disappointed with battery life on the one and doesn’t look any improvement in this 2nd series you just have to be aware the short battery life remember to charge every night at best 36 hrs battery lets it down from being 5 stars.

Woeful charging design on product. I bought it for my father who has dementia so my mum could go out with him without worry of wondering off. I frequently have trouble connecting to my mothers phone, (didn’t realize you need to pay either monthly or pay as you go for the sim, it never works when most need it and charging it is almost impossible with a useless charging connector. This makes trips with my father even more. It takes time to get get it to work and my mother finds it difficult to use. Positive is it is a clever design and the idea is good, but fiddle to use and set up.

CPR Guardian II Smartwatch For Children Wanting Independence and Parents Knowing They Are Safe At All Times. Location Tracker for Parents, SOS Button For Emergencies, Two Way Calling with Best Friends

  • Make sure this fits
    by entering your model number.
  • PHONE and TWO WAY CALLING – Two Way Calling with Best Friends and Loved Ones – You can call the watch and the watch can call you.
  • PARENTS KNOW WHERE THEY ARE – Parents always know where your child is at all times with the GPS Guardian APP on your smartphone.
  • EMERGENCY ASSIST BUTTON – Should your child require help in an emergency, they will be able to alert you by holding the SOS button. Their location and status will be available through the Guardian APP on your smartphone.
  • NEVER LOSE SIGNAL – Comes pre-installed with a CPR Chameleon PAYG Sim which provides maximum mobile coverage at all times by intelligently switching between all available mobile networks based on the best available signal.

A docking station for charging would be a great idea – easier for the elderly or visually impaired but otherwise a great bit ok kit.

Updated review, the frist watch i received had a technical problem, so the the review was one star. But i have to say this is when this company came in to it’s own our second experience as been totally different, they sent a replacement watch and then give us time to build up trust with the product again which as worked well , so i can now give this company five stars and highly recommend thank you for all you help.

They had to send me a second sim and then spent a good part of the day on the support line as it wouldn’t get a signal. Ended up that they hadn’t set the pin location up properly.

Well i bought this watch on the revews listed, it is a good peice of kit. And gives one peace of mind, it frees up a loved one who you want to monitor theirmovements, they get freedom and you the have knowledge they are safemy wife has had the watch for three months. I was able to save on her mobile phone, as it was never used. The help desk staff are brilliant nothing too much for them to explain how to set the watch up and using the app on your phonemy wife loves it.

Help is at hand with this new watch for wearer and carer as it also acts as a phone, a heart monitor, most importantly a built in emergency sos button and has gps tracking. It is also waterproof ip67 meaning the unit can be dropped into a body of water up to a meter deep for half an hour without any malfunction. How does it work?first of all the cpr guardian app needs to be downloaded to the smart phone which will link the watch to the main carer’s number. This app is free and has easy to read instructions on how to set up. The phone is the ‘hub’ and has all the features that are on the watch plus most importantly the location of where the watch is at any given time. This updates frequently, so the phone owner knows the whereabouts of the watch at all times. What are the features?emergency assist button – sosthe wearer will be able to alert you by holding the sos button for three seconds. Your smartphone will show the status and location of the wearer and you will be able to take the necessary action required. Smart location trackinggps technology is wonderful. You will always know where your loved ones are.

My mum lost contact with me in a local town and i was able to work out that she had taken the bus home as the gps location was showing on the phones app. Saved me from waiting for her at the location that we had agreed to meet up at if we got separated. Battery life is reasonable lasting 1 and a half to 2 days. The sim is multi network so it can connect to whichever network is nearest/available a very useful feature and possibly a clincher for me.

I purchased the first watch from amazon, returned it and then bought one direct from cpr. The instructions on the watch are very poor, they do not cover enough information on various aspects of the watch. I contacted cpr various times and they could not have been more helpful, especially their technical dept. I wear the watch all the time and can make calls or receive them, only to the 20 numbers you have stored in the watch. I have 4 of those numbers listed as emergency ones, if you press the red button it will dial those numbers in the order you listed till somebody answers, ie: if the first number does not answer it dials the second one, and so on. The main carer has control of the watch through the app on their mobile phone, so can send, messages, check location of person, check heart rate, other people can have app on there mobile phones as well. I do not use the area item which tells carer if the wearer has gone outside your designated area. You can make as many calls as you like by purchasing cpr’s monthly system, cost is £9-99 per month. The battery life could be better, i wear mine from 7am till 0pm per day and can just get two days without charging. I have an agreement with the 4 emergency number people that if it rings them i am in trouble, the reason is if you were in capacitated and could not speak to them they would know something is drastically wrong.

Very easy to use brought a cheaper version of this type of watch learn from my mistake cheaper is not better this watch is a much better product.

After first purchasing, we encountered issues with the accuracy because of the sim card. After chelsea contacted us we decided to try a replacement watch, which has been the best decision we made. The watch has given us peace of mind and we would recommend the watch to anyone.

‘watchu’the mark one is excellent. Now the mark two has all the bells and whistles, it`s an sos emergency help caller. ‘fitbit’, a watch, telephone person / child locator and much more. Excellent value well made very fast delivery. Well pleased highly reccomended and works over greater distances not just metres it is miles = smiles kind regards alan h.

Slightly puzzled by distinctive vibration sound emitted when battery fully charged. Was advised to stop charging, hence delaying charging until early morning. Combination of phone and gps on wrist excellent for keeping in touch. Not so likely to misplace as with mobile phone.

CPR Guardian II Smartwatch For Children Wanting Independence and Parents Knowing They Are Safe At All Times. Location Tracker for Parents, SOS Button For Emergencies, Two Way Calling with Best Friends : This watch has been an absolute godsend, my 5-year-old niece went missing last night. We were at the funfair, 100’s of people there and it was dark. I turned my back for literally 5 seconds, and she was gone, after crying, panicking and running around like a headless chicken. I then remembered she was wearing her guardian watch. As i pulled my phone out to track her location, coincidental enough she just sent me an alert of her location. Luckily for me, she was by the sweet stand around 2 meters from where we were originally standing. This could have ended a lot worse, now i can see the importance of this watch.

I have tried keyrings ,mobile phones to no avail with mum. It allows her to keep her independence whilst i’m at work but i just have a quick look at my phone to reassure myself shes ok. The fact my daughter and i can call her is an added bonus( she always hid her mobile) i wish i had bought one years ago.

Guardian 2 is a definite improvement on 1. Our wearer has acquired brain injury and memory problems – we have lost count of the number of mobile phones (lost and damaged) and other trackers (unreliable) we have tried. Wandering was and is an issue but this device gives us reassurance and communication. We have changed the strap to leather to reduce skin irritation and had a few problems setting up calling via mobiles but the post-sale support is second to none with cpr so we are very satisfied overall. Without g2, we would probably have to completely re-think the care plan we have in place.

Bought this watch to keep track of my 9 year old son when he’s out and about,it’s very clear to hear and also great and reliable gps tracker so i always know where he is.

The watch was reasonably simple to set up, although someone not apps and gadgets aware might find it a bit confusing. I will be telling our doctor (dementia specialist) about this tracker and i think that they should promote products of this type to help carers with the support of the vulnerable.

Disappointed with sound quality and lack of monitoring service currently- also it appears to be too masculine in appearance for the ladies.

YONMIG Smart Watch : Excellent easy to set up

Very nice smart watch that connected to my ios 13 iphone 8 with no problems, easily displays txt messages and incoming calls, love howlong the strap is, as most smart watches have a very short strap this is definitely made for the bigger wrist screen is bright and touch is responsive. Seems well made and strong, has many faces to choose from inc an analog watch face, watch takes about 1 to 2 hrs to charge buts lasts 4 to 7 days depending on how much your using it for calls and txts , great watch love it . The smart watch arrived quickly (was ordered via prime) and was neatly packaged in a little box. The watch must be charged before use in order to activate it – i was a bit confused about how the charger worked, but once i got there, it was easy. It’s like a magnet at the back of the watch, and the charger sticks – which was quite interesting and was easier than faffing around with a charger port in such a small devicei’ve used many fitness trackers in the past, notably fitbits (which...

INIUPO Kids Smartwatch : A++++++

My 6 year old son loves this watch. Charging and adding music is so simple. The battery holds its charge brilliantly for days. The option to add 10 contacts is great as well. The strap is very soft and comfortable to wear. I bought the gifgaf 2g sim card and it works perfectly. Nought for my son and he absolutely like it. The strap is soft and the screen is very clear.
