PTHTECHUS Kids Smartwatch – Works well if set up properly, bit involved but follow the instructions!

It was a present and i was told its very good. Just need to play with it and get used to it, plus figure out all the features.

Scan back of watch pop in your details and your off is amazing my four year old has it best ever but you need to buy separate sim card.

This is the 3rd model of tracker watch i’ve tried from amazon, rest all returned as wouldn’t work. This one isn’t touch screen which i think is good for younger child. Only problem is that the sos button can get pushed accidentally. This one came with photocopied instructions which had the keep points and which were absent from other trackers i’d tried, and which helped with easy set up. Easy to set up if you follow the instructions. If app says ‘no device connected’ or something like that then you’ve probably not set up the apn properly and need to send the revenant text to the device. Also takes a while to first lock onto gps when switched on for first time, so will probably say it’s in china or hong kong until then. Not waterproof unfortunately, maybe splash proof. Arrived with no nauru charge so wouldn’t turn on until charged.

You will receive an alert when your child moves outside of the designed area. It makes you feel more secure because everything looks under control.

Through the APP, parents can monitor the child’s location in real time, monitor the child’s calls and remote shutdown.

SOS emergency call & Health monitoring

Press the SOS button for 3s and you will instantly receive the call from the watch. If your child gets lost in public, such as shopping mall or amusement park, the emergency function is really helpful.You can trace your child’s steps, calories burned, distance and sleep quality through the app. Setting clock alarms to wake him up in the morning and reminding him to do something(do homework)is also okay. The weekly data can help you know your child’s activity condition.

How to setup???:

  1. Activate the SIM card via your phone;
  2. Turn the watch off first then insert the sim to watch; (Please note the chip angle when insert the sim. If you do not know the correct direction, please contact us and we will help)
  3. Create an account in App “setracker”, register choose Europe;
  4. Send APN codes via your phone Message app to watch; Please note via Phone Message App（Not Setracker）send the following txt message (case, spaces and commas are important!) to the watch SIM. The different SIM Card you use, the different “”APN CODE”” will be sent!!! For more sim card apn settings, please refer to our instructions.
  5. If still device offline,please contact us directly.

TOPsic Compatible Garmin Fenix 5 Straps : Great

I couldn’t stand the silicon band that came with my 935. Softer and fits better for my smaller wrist. Soak them in vinegar water for overnight to take out the smell. Fits perfect and the price is right. Don’t know why people are saying poor quality. Feels and looks like the original. Great straps to switch in — almost identical to the actual straps that come with the watch, though perhaps a very very slight bit more flexible/softer. Great straps and will be buying other colors as well. No reason to buy from garmin and spend >2x as much, these are great. Close to a garmin original but half the price. Catches work well on my fenix5 – look like the original which fell apart after 2 years. No issues with the 40-50 activities i’ve done since buying (cross bike/running). Samsung Mobile UK Qi Quick Charging Station – If bought for a note 7 ensure you have a compatible quick charge wire for the dock

Do need to buy compatible wire separately which i was expecting and brought in advance. Can place fingers around charger to use phone and charge at same time.
