I have since moved on to a samsung watch , but this product worked really goid. I have mine to a friend who runs a lot and he loved it.
The recipient is delighted with it.
Has really helped me get back on track with fitness. Syncs to google fit and mi band app. Cheap but does really well compared to the fitbit range.
Great value fitness tracker. You need to check it is compatible with your particular phone as it is limited in what it will work with. Seems to be as accurate as the more expensive ones and the app is easy to use. My wife has used it for about 6 weeks and charged it twice so it has a great battery life. Recommended (if your phone is compatible).
I purchased this as a cheaper alternative to the more expensive brands of fitness trackers that are available on the market. I didn’t want to dive straight into the deep end so i figured that this would be a good place to start without spending too much money. The band is light weight and i don’t notice that i am wearing it. It seems to be pretty accurate with tracking steps and sleep, and sleep can be edited manually if it’s wrong (sometimes it will say that i woke up an hour earlier than i actually did, so i edit it to be correct so that the data is right). The app is easy to use and very clear. The instructions are not english but i didn’t find this a problem. It pretty self explanatory and you can google anything that you’re unsure of. I’ve so far been wearing it for 2 weeks and my battery is around 40-50%. So i guess it will need charging once a month. The band stays on pretty securely, and i like the way that you can purchase different colour and patterned bands as a replacement.
People are always asking me about this fitness band. It is amazingly good value for money, it does everything you want it to especially if you download the mi band tools app. Great for waking me up quietly for work with the vibrating alarm on my wrist instead of waking up my girlfriend too. It’s awesome being able to monitor your heart rate too. Really very impressed, highly recommended fitness band. Miles cheaper than the fit bit.
The basic mi fit application is rubbish. You really need to purchase the mi band tools application from the play store to get anything decent really (was £1. Also the charging can be finnicky – you often need to manipulate the rubbed to ensure you get a connection. Many people seem to return the item – but there is no need – just make sure you line up the contacts properly and it will charge. To be honest can be beaten for the price. Only negative really is the lack of really good applications for it.

I agree with other comments that have been made it would have been brilliant for it to somehow have the time on it

Obviously not 100% accurate, as is a problem with most wrist worn activity bands, but for the price it is an excellent buy for anyone who casually wants to keep track of their daily activity. The inclusion of he hrm is definitely a bonus. And the battery life is superb. I’m still working off my first charge. Granted i’m not checking my heart rate very regularly but i have it enabled for the sleep tracking functions. The only real downside i have is that you need to use your phone to check your exact progress as the only feedback on the device itself are the 3 small leds which sometimes take a few attempts to activate. There is the newer version which includes a small display to show step count etc.
Great item works brilliantly. Heart and sleep monitors work flawlessly and are exceptional accurate.
Works well – but the app registration is broken – very frustrating — just register as a user on the website and then log in through the app. Once up and running it all works very well. Can’t complain given the bargain price.
Had i reviewed this as soon as i got it, it would have got 5 stars. However i’ve had the band 6 months now and it’s stopped charging up. It’s also vibrating to say i’ve reached my daily steps goal at times like when i’m sitting doing nothing. I know it’s cheap compared to other similar products on the market but i would’ve expected to get longer out of it before it gave up so slightly disappointed.
One charge lasts a long time. Very much an entry-level device i use mainly for sleep tracking. It basically gives you a rough idea of steps and night’s sleep but if you want to get a fit band – this is a good starter for ten.
Product was exactly as expected.
It is very reasonably priced. I agree with other comments that have been made it would have been brilliant for it to somehow have the time on it. However, i was extremely pleased then disappointed because i love the sleep analysis on it but it simply doesn’t record the ‘truth’. One evening i fell asleep for an hour pre-bed time (hard day at work) and it never recorded this sleep activity. I think its possibly great for a child or someone for their first tracking device but i have put mine to one side as another unused item.
Lots of positives had it one week and there is still 80% juice. App for this item was easily found and down loaded from apple app store went onto youtube for assistance as the instructions are in chinese where i feel they should be in english considering they sell enormous amount to english speaking country’s heart rate monitor is good as is the sleep mode and it has a good range to the phone , you can set it up as to let you know your mobile is ringing if the phone is elsewhere and you can set up alarms and exercise features on facebook includes step monitors the price is really cheap for such a quality item.
I have been looking around for sometime for a fitness band with heart monitor. The problem i kept finding were the reviews were never great and/or the apps were useless and also prices were either really cheap that makes you think twice or really expensive. Now i have used the sony smart band and also the fitbit, so i’m not new to this tech. When it arrived it was nicely boxed, arrived in about 3 days. I had to charge the unit up for about 2/3 hours which was fine as i hunted for the apps to download. When the unit was charged just place it into the band and away you go. The band is light and you don’t really notice it on your wrist. I will echo a point that as been made in a few reviews for this band, and that is, the instructions to come in chinese but it does have some rough english so you can at least charge the unit up. The apps, well both are good but it is better to run both to get the best out of the unit. The mifit app is very basic but if you sync it along with the mifit band & notify app then you get a whole host of information and it is better detailed but that second app is not as good at recording info, so every now and then sync the 1st app to the second and your done.
This is a great entry level fitness tracker. It looks good, is easy to setup and needs charging only every 3-4 weeks. It does overestimate your steps when compared to the iphone fitness app but the sleep monitor is interesting. It is my first foray into fitness bands and i didn’t want to be overspending just in case i didn’t like it. The price compared to the others in the sector is great. It does everything except tell the time and a discreet and good looking piece of kit.
Does everthying it says on the box. She’s lost 11lbs since buying it. It is certainly a form of encouragement to see information about how far one has run, how many steps taken and how quickly – all on trending graphs on the app.
I absolutely love this item. I had the same problems re the instructions. However i contacted the seller who gave me the details of which app to use. I have had no problems at all with regards to syncing the app. There are also help guides on youtube which are very informative.
Great value does everything the more expensive makes do.
Fantastic tracker, especially for the price. Stock software from xiaomi is awful. Use ‘mi band notify & fitness’ from android market. Battery: just under 2 weeks, although i don’t leave it until it is fully drained. Heart monitor: works, although better with app mentioned above. Other abilities: custom vibration for notifications, and auto unlocking while connected is very useful.
This is a handy little tracker. I have various running watches but wanted something simple to track steps and monitor hrm during the day. Once you get the various apps downloaded and set up that’s it. Some apps have useful widgets to display steps. Battery life is excellent and i bought a smart metal strap to improve its looks. It was such a success i bought 3 more as gifts.
