Ticwatch E2 Smartwatch, It’s OK

So far this has been a good smart watch. The touch screen is nice and responsive, it’s let down by not having adaptive lighting so needs to be turned up for bright conditions and down again when darker. Haven’t yet connected bluetooth headphones but it should let you take phone calls through them using the built in mic as it doesn’t have it’s own speaker. It’s a fairly lightweight watch and not too chunky. There are normally deals on ticwatch products so look out for discounts.

Previously had the ticwatch eshadow and in all fairness this isn’t much of an improvement from older generation wrist gesture to wake is as slow as previous battery life is a slight improvement but if heavy use of monitoring apps you definitely won’t get 2 days usage i found the step counter not that accurate was miles out compared to my phone, still lack of apps apart from fitnes apps and watch faces are limetted there are apps like facer etc but found they don’t work that well glitchy at best and drain battery, overall screen quialty is pretty good vibrant and clear i found the diameter overall a little big and uncomfortable when it slipped down towards my hand this can be resolved at the cost of the strap being tighter but then being rubber its swetty and annoying, over all i was disappointed i got it on offer and definitely would not pay full price have since returned it and probably got for a samsung active bit smaller over all.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this watch and came to the conclusion that i needed a wear os watch in order to be able to use offline downloaded maps without needing to have my phone with me on a run. This fits the bill perfectly and comes in at the right price. The screen is great, bright and clear and the touch functions react well. I followed some online tutorials that are available to tweak the watch and there is absolutely no lag, everything functions very smoothly. The gps is accurate, i use strava to track workouts and viewranger for mapping. The hr monitor seems okay but does seem to have spikey readings now and again although appears quite accurate during a run with strava app. The strap is comfortable and i wear the watch 24/7 except for charging. The biggest let down is the lack of sleep tracking. I can get 2 days out of the battery depending on useage. I just hope that the watch keeps functioning.

I’ve tried the original ticwatch s just a few weeks ago and couldn’t live with the lack of battery power so i returned and ordered this. It has the same great soft feel to the strap and seems to be a bit better made than the original. Glad to say that the battery on this lasts a good 2 days and the watch supports a range of android apps such as google music. This one is water proof to and let’s you swim which i feel is important for a fitness watch. It uses google’s wear os platform so there are plenty of aftermarket watch faces available through the play store. The strap is quick change so easy to change the look and feel of the watch for a few ££happy so far and will do an update in a month or 2.

The watch arrived in a neat and tidy box. Included in the box:ticwatch e2propritorty chargerquick start guideuser manualthe ticwatch e2 feels comfortable to wear. This is the second generation ticwatch e. The watch is easy to set up using the wear os app. The charging clasp easily connects to the watch magnetically. The watch charged to 100% within 1 hour. The battery lasted around 2 days for me. A couple of features that helped make that happen was turning the always on screen feature off and when i went to bed and turned on the battery saver mode. I’ve used the watch for a week now. I have really enjoyed having the ticwatch e2 on my wrist.

I bought this watch to replace an old lg g watch r that finally died after 6 years service. It’s made of plastic, rather than metal, but looks good, and doesn’t look cheap. I was a bit worried when i first got it because the battery wasn’t even lasting the day, but it says in the instructions it might take a few days for the battery life to settle down, and they were right. Now i easily get a whole day’s use, with usually around 50% battery life left, and could get two days use if i was a bit careful with the usage i’m sure. I’m very happy with this watch, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a good basic budget android wear watch.

Headline says it all really, great google wear os watch and well worth the asking price. I particularly like how it looks as i’m not a jewellery person and the watch is simple and functional. The use of google’s wear os rather than a proprietary os means pretty seamless integration with android apps, much better than previous experience with more expensive watches running a proprietary os. Great for working in new places, put all the appointments in the calendar and use the google maps integration in the watch to guide you to all your meetings, much better than constantly looking at your phone giving the impression that you don’t know where you are (and to control spotify as you go). Had a problem almost a year in with the supplied charger. Got in touch with the manufacturer and they shipped me a replacement no questions asked, very impressed. Only downside is the battery life which is just ok.

Good Watch with Great Specs

It does a great job as a sports activity tracker. Paired with viewranger it’s great for hiking. It’s light, tough and comfortable to wear. The protruding bezel does a good job of protecting the glass. It’s slightly underpowered, so launching apps can be slow and glitchy. Most run just fine once they’ve launched though. The heart rate sensing is not always on, so it’s not suitable for continuous health monitoring. Battery life is fine, a few hours of exercise tracking a day is possible, or 2 days of day-to-day use.

This is my second ticwatch (i also own the ticwatch pro). I find this a great watch for the price. I’ve worn in countless times for sport activites like swimming, football, gym workouts. Which work really well with the mobvoi software as well as google fit. Is a very good looking watch on the wrist. Notifications are good and easy to manage, edit and reply to. Sometimes it can be sluggish but that is understandable in my eyes with the price when you compare that to competing watches. The only annoyance i’ve had with it is the lack of light sensor so when it bright daylight after having the brightness on low it took me a little while to turn that up.

I bought this watch for my son to help with monitoring his blood sugars, he’s a type 1 diabetic. Using the xdrip app the watch shows his blood glucose and it can be used standlone without a phone. My son is very active with football and swimming high on his list of sports. The watch is waterproof to 50m which sorts out the swimming and it also feels sturdy enough for the football field. The screen, battery life, and responsiveness of the watch are all excellent and overall we’re very happy with this purchase.

The s2 watch is brilliant, it’s easy to use and easy to set up. Love the different watch faces, i use it for fitness and notification, which is great that you can reply on. The keyboard maybe a little small but it is a watch and you can speak out the text if you want. The battery life is a let down, the 1st day i charged it 3 times. The next i had to do it twice, however there was some sort of an upgrade and i also charged it all nite, i put it on at 6. 35pm i have 28% left, that’s from a lot of use and a fitness tracker on. The charging doc is fine as long as you have a 1amp plug so you can plug in your usb too anything else and it mite blow the charger ( alot of people said that ). I’m very happy with my watch.

Good value watch but seriously under performs. Touch screen is extremly temperamental and often jumps screens without reason. The watch is under powered and often freezes for a couple of seconds just to come back to the main screen. Battery life is ok if you dont use any features or apps such as maps etc which is to be expected. The watch itself appears well made in a robust shell, however more often than not it doesn’t charge which requires you to keep reconnecting it to the base before you see the charger has properly made contact (probably the biggest hassle of the watch). Overall its an ok watch but if i wasn’t using it medically to display diabetic blood sugar readings i really wouldn’t bother with an os wear smartwatch. If you dont need to specifically have os wear, try something else.

Battery life is good, with easy day to two day use depending on how much tracking you do. Very rugged – doesn’t damage at all despite everything it has thrown at it. Easy to connect to android, wifi, bluetooth. Operates reasonably quickly most of the time, there is the odd hiccup but not frequent enough to detract from general wearabilty. Andriod wear os, thus takes advantage of new tiles feature. Mobivoi software is decent for tracking, but also syncs flawlessly with google fit. Pretty accurate tracker – easily as good if not better than much more expensive garmins. As wear os has ability to use other tracking apps if preferred. Comes with very easy to use power cradle.

Use this for sport mainly; tracking rides and runs, plus need one a smart watch that can cope with more extreme conditions where it is going to get wet – skiing, kayaking, swimming etc. Always wanted a smartwatch that could be with me all day on the beach, at the pool, in and out of water etc. Now there is a ticwatch for this. Dial and overall look of the watch is a big improvement on the ticwatch s which i had previously – it is completely black and does away with the yellow detailing on the s. And the best news – s2 is waterproof. This is a huge step forward. Leaves me feeling the the whole package is much more resilient, designed and rugged. Loving it over these first few weeks of usage. Prior ticwatch version did lose the bluetooth connection. No issues thus far – i’m using an iphone x also which is counter-intuitive as watch is android but wear is working well on the apple platformbetter selection of watch faces which are v. Easy to select and download. Also the charger (see photo) is far more resilient that than for the s – again a big step forward. Watch connects far more securely and charges quickly.

Initially i was sceptical this would be good enough to replace my huawei smart watch 2, but i am pleasently surprised, granted it won’t take a sim card like the huawei, but i never used it when i had it so i don’t miss it. Battery life could be better, but as long as you charge it up fully before using it for the first time, i can now almost get 2 full days use out of it. Just be realistic about which watch face you choose to put on it, the more complications you have showing, the quicker the battery drains. Although i have found with most wath faces that turning off the phone battery status does help extend battery life.

You may care about the lack of elegance of the s2 – its a black hunk of plastic. You should not care about the lack of lte and a barometric pressure sensor as almost all will carry an android smartphone which relays these. Install ultimate watch 2 face and altimeter for wear os and you have a great highly customisable sport watch at a very competitive price.

Extremely disappointed with this watch. The battery life is very poor, with average use i get less than a day and must charge it. Doesn’t support gpay like the c2. Like all tech now the manufacturer forces loads of bloatware into it; pointless apps that never get used. The plus points are it’s durability, gps tracking when running, nice clear screen. Syncs perfectly with google fit. In spite of the poor battery performance it does charge quickly.

But waited to assess and write review. Very accurate data, (matched gym workout pretty much hr for hr )steps ok, and loads of faces to install. Ok some are the same just slightly different, only so much you can do with a clock face. App i liked, and swiping mostly ok, if a little annoying at other timesbad bits. Range anxiety they call it in the car world. But hey easy enought o just take of and charge every night, charger nice and easy (plus point )but, i was constanly worried it would die. (it did) if i wore it and used the toys on it.

None of the body side worked. Same really as it is a nice size and look for a smartwatch screen timeout is a pain but you can get an app to change that. Faces where great to change. Some nice options out there. But with the body functions not working it’s just half the watch is should be. Prices seem to jump up and down which is annoying. Went for the pro version now. Got that for £130, after black friday, so the black friday ‘sale’ prices might not be the best deals.

5atm waterproof, fairly rugged (i have an active job) and 2 days battery life. So prior to this watch i had messed around with smart bands and fitness trackers before. This is my first smartwatch. The watch itself is a little towards the large size but for most men, it won’t look out of place on their arm. The watch set up was simple. Watch uses wear os, and pairs with android phone simple and easy. There is a dedicated app by mobvoi but i have never used it. All the good fitness stuff works fine, there is a hr tracker, no bp tracker. Step counter seems accurate. Notifications from just about any app available work well and quick premade replys can be utilised.

This is my second smartwatch, the earlier being an older ticwatch. I decided that ticwatch offered the best value for money compared to other smartwatches on the market. The ticwatch e2 is a fantastic all-round watch, with all the benefits of google wear os. The unboxing experience is good and set up process easy. This is a reasonably large watch face and the screen clarity is fantastic. Brightness is more than adequate. The design of the watch is sleek and feels robust. I have no complaints about the strap provided, it’s actually really comfortable and flexible for all shape wrists. Compared with my previous ticwatch, the battery has significantly improved and i’m now easily getting two days. Charging also seems to be faster, so i’d recommend upgrading if you have an early smartwatch.

This watch is pretty much pointless if you have a smartphone. Pros:has a hearty rate monitorgood to flex around friendsgood quality for pricei like how it’s waterproof and can withstand temperatures that other watches can’tcons:it’s quiet laggy in terms of rambattery jumped around within a week of having itcan ‘track’ a workout, but has to be setup first which can be fiddly, annoying to repeatedly do and just uses averages to calculate, running on a treadmill miscalculated 3km for 1. having an extra £150 on you isn’t worth itas it’s bulky it’s hard to put on clothes while wearing it, making it annoyingconclusion:i wouldn’t recommend the tic watch if you want it as a means of measuring workouts, if this is the case, fit-bits are probably the best alternative.

Having had a samsung watch for a few months and being limited by tizen os, i wanted to try a wear os watch. This is good quality, good value and does what i want it to, without having to jailbreak it. I liked my samsung watch, but like this better. Battery is nowhere near samsung’s (sam lasts 2 days, this lasts 1, roughly) but i charged my sam overnight every night anyway so not an issue for me. Strap and case is equal quality to the samsung gear watch. Spare charger docks are cheap off ebay if you need another (i wanted one for my caravan) i like it and recommend it.

This is my first full smartwatch. Had a hybrid fossil one for a year but wanted more in the way of notifications and information. I’m using this with a oneplus 6t running andriod 9. 0, no idea what it’s like with ios but comments suggest you need. An apple watch with an iphone. I decided in september 2018 that i would be buying a smartwatch but then the new snapdragon 3100 was announced so i thought i’d wait. And i waited and waited and waited. Then i read that the improvements weren’t great anyway so i thought i’d try one of these, the price being the major selling point. First up you need to add the wear os app to your phone and then connect via bluetooth.

I bought this watch as my first smartwatch after being impressed by the list of features and reading customer reviews. The main appeal was the price, particularly as i wasn’t sure how much i would use it. The watch itself is neat and appears to be quite robust. Not as large as some smartwatch so sits nicely on the wrist. I did have a software issue with the watch where i was unable to reboot it after around 7 months. However i found the service from mobvoi to be excellent. After sending a brief video of the problem i was invited to return the watch and given a brand new replacement. It was only during this period that i realised how much i had cone to depend on it. I would highly recommend this watch and the customer service provided by mobvoi.

I was looking at this myself, but it was my 14yr old son who asked to buy this watch after seeing reviews. I personally own a few g-shocks so the size of this is in some aspects smaller than a g-shock. My son is an avid gamer and likes tech related stuff. This all seems to fuse together well for this watch. After a week he seems to really like it and has it on the majority of the time. Excellent video of this is done on youtube via chigz tech reviews. If you are thinking of getting this then check his full review.

This is my second smartwatch, the earlier being an older ticwatch model from kickstarter a while back, i decided that ticwatch had to offer some of the best features and at a great price so the value for money was of course there. The ticwatch e2 is an amazing all-round watch, with the benefits of google wear os, this is hatd to comeby across the other smart watch range for exmaple the likes of garmin. The unboxing experience is great and the set up process is quick and easy. This watch face size and the screen brightness is more than good, especially on a sunny daily in dieect sunlight you are still able to use it to function. The design is sleek and very robust, with the waterproofing and comfortable strap you know you’re well covered. The battery has significantly improved and i’m now easily getting two days, whereas my last version barely would get a days worth before requiring a recharge. Overall would highly recommend this watch, for those with an android phone. Google wear os makes it super easy.

I have been using the watch for last 10 days. 39′ amoled display and run on wear os 2. Its also got a built in swim tracker and the watch is 5 atm water resistant. It is very good at tracking the exercise and i can go for run without my phone as the watch got a built in gps. I can also store some music in the watch and pair the watch with bluetooth headset to listen the music while running outdoorit also has a slightly larger 415mah battery and is powered by qualcomm’s snapdragon 2100. The watch is very light and i preferred it as everyday wear. I have got 2 days battery life with always on display off. I really like the theater mode which will turn off the display if you are inside a dark place or you want to go bed with watch.

Really happy with the ticwatch e2, especially given the price. I preferred the minimal design of the e2 vs sports watch look of the s2. Screen – great screen, better than i expected. Clear and sharp with plenty of room for extra brightness. No ambient light sensor, which is understandable for the price, but would be a welcome addition. Battery – too early to say, but charging is very quick and the supplied dock makes it hassle freespeed – 95% of the time, very smooth, very fluid transitions, really impressive. Only noticed the odd lag when installing lots of apps or starting a heavy-weight app etc. Size – i don’t have large wrists and the watch feels well sized to me; not too thick, not too large. Strap – the included rubber strap has a really nice quality feel to it. I did order a 3rd party strap thinking it would feel ‘plasticy’, but that’s not the case.

I was hoping to use this as an alternative to my garmin for the increase features from wear os. First of all the s2 is quite ugly and i am not sure the military grade certification is worth it. They are both water proof, so unless you are doing activities that smash you about a lot i don’t think the added price or ugliness is worth it. Fitness tracking is hit and miss. It is fine for casual use, and if i had the better looking e2 i would probably keep it. But it struggles to lock onto a hear rate for several activities and heart rate drops out mid activity a lot. These are pretty standard issues for wrist based tracking but this is worse than normal. Calories estimations are flat out wrong, unless they only state active calories. It has me at about 1500 a day, and my normal tdee is 3500 due to activity levels.

Vodafone V-Kids Watch – Good idea, poor execution

Son loves his new smart watch. Well made, location accuracy not always the best but my iphone xs max is sometimes off too. The general location coupled with voice notification should be enough if we needed to local our son. Worthy purchase if you can buy it on offer like i did. Not to sure it’s worth the full rrp. Setup isn’t straightforward so be prepared to spend sometime setting it up. Once the product is all set up it really is a good piece of kit, it takes little time to go through the process with the vodafone sim but it is worth doing. It is easy to voice message and gives me peace of mind with the sos function built in, the games are a good feature to keep the little one entertained. The gps tracking works well with the vodafone signal and no problems so far. Love this, it’s a brilliant well designed product but the battery life is very disappointing. Esta muy bien, yo se lo he comprado a mis hijos y es casi exactoen la posición aunque podrian mejorar la interface e incluso

Motast Smart Watch : Works exactly as you would expect

Bought this watch as a gift for hubby, and it is keeping him very happy. Not only it looks good (and very handsome) on his wrist, the battery life is long enough, he has so far only charged once when it first arrived, and it has been going strong ever since. Have yet to try the other functions, but to be honest, for us, the good look and long battery life is the two most important factors when comes to choosing a watch. Loloverall, very happy with this purchase, highly recommend it. I loved itarrived in brilliant condition and the very next day after i brought it too, arriving in a sturdy solid box making it very secure and safe from any knocks and bruisesi bought this beautiful watch for my husband. He had expensive smart watch before but get broken. I really was thinking i will get chip one now temporarily and late buy different. But now my husband love his watch so much. Came in a small box along with an instruction booklet, charging cable. It was already half charged when it arriv
