Amazfit GTR 47mm Smartwatch – Great value, great looking, amazing battery power

I have to say that this watch is impressive, the screen is very responsive and the whole experience is good. The whole of the screen is in use to display watch faces and information unlike some cheap smart watches where they only use a small square portion of the display i got 15 days of battery life out of it using it as a normal watch and as a fitness tracker. The only down side is that the strap could be a little more generous (see enclosed photo) but then you could always change the strap. The default watch faces are really all you need classic or digital, you can add a third watch face from the app which has 96 other watch faces to choose from, so plenty of choice. Even the box it comes in is well made almost an apple unboxing event extra photos show the two default watch faces and the 42mm apple watch 3 for a size comparison. For a budget-ish (£100-£150) its worth the price. If you can get it when amazon have it discounted you won’t be disappointed.

I returned this watch because i needed more running features so bought another pace. It does looks great on the wrist and has a pretty and colourful screen. However for running i prefer the transflective screen of the pace or stratos. The oled on this watch watch struggles in direct sunlight. Also the running tracking is less customisable and there is no interval training. If you want a nice looking watch with some running functions get this. If you want a running watch that looks ok get the pace or stratos.

A great watch at a fantastic price. Some say the 47mm version is too big but it looks great on me and the much-extended battery life compared to the 42mm version is the clincher. I’ve only had the watch a couple of days, but so far i’m mightily impressed. It has all the features i’m likely to need (i mean who wants to be seen talking to their wrist when answering a call?) there are lots of extra watch faces available online and the process for loading them works well but is a little confusing at first.

i do love larger looking watches and when i came across the gtr 47mm i had to buy it. I like the slim depth in the design the way you can switch from a good amount of various watch faces to get one that suits your likes. I also like it’s waterproof if needed , on a long battery life depending how you have the settings ,but has a great magnetic charger making it simple to recharge as when needed. I like all the features this smart watch offers specially the gps on the watch very accurate indeed. The app that you use together with the watch is nice simple to help define the set up and what you want the watch to do. When i am out jogging i found the watch was great at controlling my music on my phone without me having to get the phone out of its holder. So with its message and call notifications i do think this lovely watch is as good if not better than some of the top expensive smartwatches on the market.

I upgraded to the gtr from the amazfit bip. This watch has the same great battery like but is better in every other way. It looks and feels more quality and the 47cm is the perfect size. The screen is much better too. Shame it doesn’t have nfc and i miss the always on screen but at this price i’m not complaining.

Fantastic looking watch,with amazing battery life , huge selection of faces available. I use the step counter sleep tracker and gps for my walks in the dales. I have found the gps function accurate, unlike other reviewers,that being said i live in open countryside with no high rise buildings, would heartily recommend.

The amazfit gtr is a great looking watch and the battery is great. It was just what i was looking for in a smart watch.
