HUAWEI Band 4 Pro – Smart Band Fitness Tracker : Great kit, good price. A little bulky.

Bought mine ‘used’ from livewire telecom a few marks on the box but found no seriousdamage, everything else in order, cable and charger intact, the instructions and warranty card all in the box, actually well packaged. Already own a huewai p smart with the huewai health app installed, managed to connect pretty easily with the app. I’ve used this for a week now and it is one of the more comprehensive fitness bands i’ve used. It’s easily comparable to my wife’s fitbit charge 2, if not better, love the gps for my bike rides and the choice of different faces (three in total), i’m becoming a bit of a fan of huewai tech, do i’m obviously happy with my purchase, also found screen protectors on amazon to protect it during my working day.

Have had it since saturday and am pretty impressed. Battery is still @ 80% after having tracked 2* 1 hour jogging sessions, a walk and trusleep enabled 2 nights in a row. Gps seems accurate as compared to my phone (p20 pro). During jogging discrepiancy was i think 100m. It was about 200m during the 4 k walk where i took frequent nt stops ( so have to investigate what happens during the stops). Wheather at the time was also really bad. Sleeping tracking as far as i can tell is ok ( obviously difficult to asses but number of wake periods at night was correct). It is really great that it is waterproof as well. I am deducting one star since health app is not perfect. For example it is not very clear what data is dispalyed on the home page – phone or band and app.

Purchased mainly for swimming and tracking sleep, this device delivers. A perfect entry level band for the casual gym goer. I’m loving the detail it’s providing in terms of my sleep pattern and quality, my swimming ability and my heart rate throughout the day. For it’s feature set and it’s price point, it can’t be beaten.

Setup out of the box took 20 mins on my phone. I use it mainly for tracking outdoor running. It maps very accurately through gps the route i took and the time splits. Using the gps on drains the battery by 12-15% for a 40mins run. It also has a timer and stopwatch function which are useful. My favourite feature is that it vibrates every km so tracking is very easy. 99 and it is much better value than a similarly priced fitbit. Note: i have noticed the reviews below are for different versions of this product.

It looks great, i love the feel of it and the fact it’s waterproof, the battery life is not great i find meself having to charge it every day buts tat is during med to high usage, it cud have more features like a blood pressure sensor, and it wud be good if i could reply to my messages instead of just being able to read, no apps at all no music app, it cud have more faces too only get a choice of 3, as for the delivery it came early well wrapped, price was reasonable, i have it paired with my p20 pro and it was easy to set up never have any connection issues, all in all i’d give it an decent 9/10, if ur looking for a smart band to go with ur phone, get the huawei smart band 3 pro,.

Display is neat, easy to use, a little bit fiddly to toggle the timer. The band itself is wide enough for my wrist, having very thin wrists i always wish there were variable sizes but there you go. Battery life excellent as long as you don’t have the continuous heart rate monitor. Using wrist motion to activate the screen saves battery and is neat. Does connect phone messages but not things like whatsapp or general notifications. I noticed my phone alarm is linked which is cool. The calibration is not perfect, because even if i have been moving but wrist was steady the get moving buzz comes on.

TOPsic Compatible Garmin Fenix 5 Straps : Great

I couldn’t stand the silicon band that came with my 935. Softer and fits better for my smaller wrist. Soak them in vinegar water for overnight to take out the smell. Fits perfect and the price is right. Don’t know why people are saying poor quality. Feels and looks like the original. Great straps to switch in — almost identical to the actual straps that come with the watch, though perhaps a very very slight bit more flexible/softer. Great straps and will be buying other colors as well. No reason to buy from garmin and spend >2x as much, these are great. Close to a garmin original but half the price. Catches work well on my fenix5 – look like the original which fell apart after 2 years. No issues with the 40-50 activities i’ve done since buying (cross bike/running). Samsung Mobile UK Qi Quick Charging Station – If bought for a note 7 ensure you have a compatible quick charge wire for the dock

Do need to buy compatible wire separately which i was expecting and brought in advance. Can place fingers around charger to use phone and charge at same time.
