Garmin fēnix 6S Pro – Amazing all rounderespecially if you’re active or planning to become active

If you like information about your training this has bags of it easy to use once you’ve played with it to understand where things are build quality very good if you only amoccasional train then all this info could be wasted and a cheaper watch would probably do but for the more serious athletes this has it all.

This watch is amazing, truly is. The 6pro is everything i hoped it would be and more. I was expecting the watch itself to be quite big on my wrist but i was pleasantly surprised to wrong, it fits my average sized wrist without looking oversized. Set up wasn’t difficult, usual stuff like account and wifi setup. The personalisation parts are great, giving options for screen display, functions you use and even colour preferences for some bits. Battery is mega, i have charged once in 2. 5 weeks and used for an activity at least once a day every day. The app is good to use and gives accurate info.

This watch has a reel premium feel to it, as soon as you take it out if the box. The screen quality is excellent, as is the button operation, sport metrics and overall features. However, only downside is the strap. It allows the watch to wobble around your wrist, so i ordered a talk-time curved rubber strap (see photo). It transformed the fit and feel, no more movement. Overall, great watch, best you can get for outdoor, active sports use. I use it for cycling, gym, hiking.

Simple amazing, battery life and battery saving mode are just amazing. I have to get used to the weight, i recommend to close it extra tight when running, but a part that is an amazing piece of technology.

Clearer screen from the previous models. I went away without the charger for a holiday. Turned off some features and the watch was still going. The same can’t be said for apple watch. This is the watch that other manufacturers should aspire too. . And it looks like a watch.

Really like the 6, i had the 5 before but returned it shortly after buying. I have always had mechanical watches but i like the 6 enough to sell my auto mech and use as my daily wear. All sensors work well and seems robust no issues so far. Only thing i think is a bit daft is garmin using their own design charging connector, it’s not the best.

Been waiting to get my hands on the 6 for a while as i have the 5 plus, the 6 is a awesome bit of kit.

This is my second watch from garmin, the fenix 6 is a quality product. It’s easy to use and provides excellent information about training statistics. I had a fault with the watch and i was really impressed with how garmin responded to the issue. They sent me a replacement without any quibbles. It is genuinely refreshing to see a company, in this day and age, who have supported the customer in such a positive way.

An amazing watch that has worked flawlessly with the ant+ cadence sensor on my bike, the bluetooth on my elite turbo trainer and the heart rate monitor with no drop outs.

Garmin fenix 6x pro, awesome piece of kit. Round route planning, maps on watch, from hiking to kayaking, seamless sync to strava, fitbit scales connect via myfitnesspal. This watch does everything i have ever wanted, i have moved over from fitbit after staying with them for years just hoping they release something good. Garmin are miles ahead of the fitness game. Don’t just take my word for it, join facebook fan pages, check youtube reviews, you will not be disappointed. 6xpro is the larger of the three in the 6 series. 6s – smallest6 – middle6x – largesti would recommend this to anyone.

I was sceptical about why it costs so much in comparison to other watches but having used it for the last few weeks, i’m sold. If you are obsessed with data, this is the device for you. It does far more than i need but the battery life and screen quality are great.

Unfortunately i returned this watch as i found it too heavy for running. The garmin 945 may be better for me. I am quite slight and just found the weight made the watch bob on my wrist. Although being slight the 6 pro was a great fit and size for my 160cm wrists. The features on the watch are incredible and it certainty is a great watch for ultra running and multi-sport. Maps are very clear and great for navigation. Works very well with stryd also.

It’s an amazing watch and if you are a budding triathlete then you will get plenty from this device with accurate swim/run/cycle functions. Me i just use the walk/hike/cycle functions and it’s a winner. With support for third party applications it will even track your sleep which works very well indeed once the battery lasts at least 5 days – longer if you keep the pulse oximeter switched off – shorter if you use the gps. It’s pricey but in this case you really do get what you pay for. Don’t forget to buy screen protectors at the same time – last thing you want to do is stratch the glass?. Here are the specifications for the Garmin fēnix 6S Pro:

Great watch nut why i the strap so small ??. 200mm strap on the 6s is way too small. Does garmin assume only girls will ware the watch ?.

Perfect for a ladies smaller wrist. All bells and whistles if your into your multisports and the accompanying app is easy to use as a bonus. If your just after something to map your runs or to count steps maybe go so something a bit cheaper as you won’t need all the extras that your paying for with this watch.

It is a fantastic watch, the receiver is a keen road cyclist and it gives him all the information he needs, it even measures his sleep. As his garmin is paired with his mobile he receives his messages on his watch as well.

Please be careful when reviewing the questions, as some answers are incorrect. Lots of questions state you can download music but on purchasing this i have found that you cant.

After years with polar, i went the apple watch route and got frustrated. This is a great watch and glad i made the leap and got the’x’. Felt large for a day or so and still catch’s on some jackets but so worth it with the data. Make the move you wasn’t look back.

Best sports watch functionality-wise so far. I had doubts if 6x would be too bulky though looks fine (my wrist is 16. Watch fits well for me and wrist-based heart rate is surprisingly accurate for me in all conditions (even at high pulse, tested with forerunner+chest strap to compare). Biggest disadvantage would be the price although it can easily be justified if you do use the offered features. Fenix 6 pro series is the closest to life-style smart watch among the fully featured sports watches. If you lean towards more apps, bigger ecosystem, phone-like features then you’d go for apple watch. If you are looking for proper sports tracker, don’t want to have it only for this but actually use it as a watch that doesn’t need to be charged every other night, go for fenix 6 pro.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Very good watch, training partner

  • Works as it should and tough build quality

  • Amazing all rounderespecially if you’re active or planning to become active

Really happy with this watch. I had the 920xt but was fed up wearing a chest strap for heart rate monitoring. This gives heart rate monitoring from the wrist and adds loads more stats about workouts and maps and music.

Still thinks the 5 looks better. Vast improvement everywhere else.

I upgraded from a vivoactive 3 to the fenix 6 pro and i don’t regret it one bit (and yes, it’s almost 3 times the price). The build quality, the functionality, the number of options etc. For those who think it might be too big on your wrist like i thought (i’m 5’7 and weigh approx. 175) and am used to watches that are about 42mm by 12-13mm. So the fenix 6 coming it at circa. 47mm, i thought would be a bit much. But i was pleasantly surprised that it doesn’t look too chunky and the added display size and battery duration is 100% worth it. Some reviews speak about the hrm not being accurate. To be honest, i found that if you don’t put it in a particular activity mode, it is not going to monitor your hr accurately – i tested this by cycling with a chest hrm strap on and whilst i was at 160+ on the chest strap the fenix wasn’t going above 100 bpm whilst not in a particular activity mode.

I owned a forerunner 735xt before and really liked garmin customer service and products so when 735xt died after few years i still wanted a garmin. Always like the look of fenix but felt they were huge so this series with different sizes suited my needs. Ordered 6 pro for the inbuilt music player. Perfect size, great watch, long battery life.

After changing multiple smartwatches from apple, samsung, fitbits and so on. I can only say that i am sorry i did not go for the garmin to begin with. Would have definitely saved a lot of money. Battery life when charged says 21 days. With no activities, it would do it. If you use gps tracking, heartbeat broadcasting, navigating using the map it would still easily last you a good week and that is with hr running in the background. It is not heavy, straps start showing wear after time but definitely not asking for a change.

Vodafone V-Kids Watch – Good idea, poor execution

Son loves his new smart watch. Well made, location accuracy not always the best but my iphone xs max is sometimes off too. The general location coupled with voice notification should be enough if we needed to local our son. Worthy purchase if you can buy it on offer like i did. Not to sure it’s worth the full rrp. Setup isn’t straightforward so be prepared to spend sometime setting it up. Once the product is all set up it really is a good piece of kit, it takes little time to go through the process with the vodafone sim but it is worth doing. It is easy to voice message and gives me peace of mind with the sos function built in, the games are a good feature to keep the little one entertained. The gps tracking works well with the vodafone signal and no problems so far. Love this, it’s a brilliant well designed product but the battery life is very disappointing. Esta muy bien, yo se lo he comprado a mis hijos y es casi exactoen la posición aunque podrian mejorar la interface e incluso

INIUPO Kids Smartwatch : A++++++

My 6 year old son loves this watch. Charging and adding music is so simple. The battery holds its charge brilliantly for days. The option to add 10 contacts is great as well. The strap is very soft and comfortable to wear. I bought the gifgaf 2g sim card and it works perfectly. Nought for my son and he absolutely like it. The strap is soft and the screen is very clear. Battery life is good but he keeps fiddling with watch so it drains the battery a bit early. Apart from that, happy with the purchase. I bought this watch fory kid for her birthday , she loves this watch it has many attractive features with games in it with music and camera and many more , she’s is much in love this watch predent, it’s colour is very vibrant i highly recomnf it to buy. This is really good watch i brought it for my nephew. He was over the moon and really happy. Many functions on it and can also be used as phone, text message, camera. Shows time in both format digital and analog. Looks really good too a

Got this for my son as we didn’t really know what to get him for christmas. It was super easy to set up and has been keeping our son more engaged in checking the time (i think the fact that it’s more than just a watch led to that enthusiasm). I got this for my niece and nephew and i saw blue and pink ones as an christmas gift they loves it. Very easy to set up and use and comes with many features. She particularly loves the camera and her mum loves it because she fells more safety, comfortable to wear and looks so high quality.
