I purchased 2 of these – 1 is great and exactly as expected. The second one arrived with one of the inner liners (the orange one) missing from the box. It will still work with just the one, but it should have 2. If tht part can be sent on to me then i have no hesitation in changing my review to 5 stars.
Fantastic, used at born survivor, mud , water you name it my fitbit went through hell. Came through at the end without a scratch and recorded all information.
Works amazingly – keeps the apple watch dry and clean throughout the run and total muddy and ice submersion. Used the water feature to stop the screen and buttons changing settings. Works great at tough mudder – for £10 off your first tm use code: brand20uk7178 at checkoutcan’t wait to get in the mud again with this band to record my stats.
Just worn this for total warrior and it worked perfectly. Got submerged in mud and water multiple times but when i unwrapped it at the end my apple watch was completely dry and mud free. I had the water lock turned on it because the inner band wraps tightly around it and i didn’t want it messing with the touch screen. My only gripe was it still managed to pause the workout after an hour and i wasn’t aware of it because i was too filthy to unwrap on the course. Not sure if this is down to the band pressing on the side button or just my watch playing silly beggars but it still counted total exercise time and calories burnt, steps etc. I’ve got 3 more events coming up over the next couple of months so i’ll update this review if i have any issues with it. Once the band is on and the watch enclosed it felt very comfortable and i didn’t notice it was there to be honest once the event started but was glad of the extra protection/padding of the black sleeve because looking at the bruises on my arms i probably knocked my watch quite a few times.
Literally the only thing on the market i could find for what i needed. Used it for a mud run (nuclear race) and it worked perfectly. No damage to or mud near my fitbit (inspire hr) and it wasn’t uncomfortable to wear. Good investment as i’ll definitely use again.
