I own garmin fenix, garmin vivo move yet this is the best smart watch i have ever owned. Battery life – 30 days i could not believe that at all. I thought this watch is broken when did not charge it for 28 days then decided to look at app and i had still 17% left. Superb glass, antiscratch (i managed to smash it few times onto the wall no sign at all) if you want to stop worrying about battery life then this is the product for you. Charging fully in around 2-3hrs, plenty of power for what i need. Yes it’s not as smooth as other expensive watches but it’s a watchthere are some frustrating features like quite tricky to load custom faces, you cannot reply to messages etc. But it works with spotify, i can see who is calling and if ridding bike i have option to track it too. Hr works great so no complaints. There were loads of complaints about gps but mine seem fine after firmware updates.
I’ve been using the the watch now for 2 weeks. I’ve been running, swimming and training quite a bit. The watch is brilliant- it looks good, the heart rate is accurate when tested against the gym equipment, both readings were the same. Works fine in the pool and recognises how far you swam. Battery life is outstanding- i’ve put the watch through it’s paces and i’m still on 50% battery after 2 weeks. The watch is paired with my iphone and i’ve had no connection problems and i get all the notifications. I would recommend this watch to anybody. I’ve owned most smart watches starting from the pebble, apple watch and samsung galaxy and this is by far the most versatile. It has everything you need one you only need to change it about every 20 days. The app is ok too, with loads of different faces to customise it.
I’ve used this watch for almost 5 months now and i’m very happy with it. I was looking for a smart watch and, doing my homework through watching many youtube reviews and reading others’ reviews here on amazon, i plumped for this amazfit gtr 47mm. Through my research i picked up on there being basically 2 types of smart watch. First there’s the true smart watch like the premium samsung galaxy range which run a relatively complex operating system and have many apps available. Second there’s the more basic fitness smart watch which has a relatively simple operating system with its own built in ‘apps’. I say ‘apps’ as they’re typically simple things like a countdown timer or workout session recorder. I chose the second category as it met my needs best i. I just wanted a good looking watch with some extra functions such as a heart-rate monitor and the ability to easily upload bespoke watch faces from the internet. Most importantly i wanted it to have at least 4 days battery life.
I have to say that this watch is impressive, the screen is very responsive and the whole experience is good. The whole of the screen is in use to display watch faces and information unlike some cheap smart watches where they only use a small square portion of the display i got 15 days of battery life out of it using it as a normal watch and as a fitness tracker. The only down side is that the strap could be a little more generous (see enclosed photo) but then you could always change the strap. The default watch faces are really all you need classic or digital, you can add a third watch face from the app which has 96 other watch faces to choose from, so plenty of choice. Even the box it comes in is well made almost an apple unboxing event extra photos show the two default watch faces and the 42mm apple watch 3 for a size comparison. For a budget-ish (£100-£150) its worth the price. If you can get it when amazon have it discounted you won’t be disappointed.
You need a smart watch this is the one to go for, very very light, gps a bit hit and miss but when it does work it tracks very well not has good as my phone but not bad. Battery life is very very good got the watch just after my birthday gave it a full charge and its nearly 4 weeks later and still well over 50%. Ive used it a few time to track my bike rides, does not come with watch os but the system on it works very well, plenty of faces you can upload via the phone app some good some bad. This is the third smart watch i have sony and huawei being the other2 both running watch os and the gtr is a lot better in many ways eg can get in the bath without taking it off i hate having to remove a watch just to go for a quick dip. Always having very good watches tissot/tag etc i would put this watch up there. Save yourself a small fortune and give this a go. Update 27/05/2020 watch has just today dropped below 10% so the first time i have had to charge it. This has to be the best non os wear watch out there.
I’m really loving this watch. It might not be a full bells-and-whistles smartwatch, as some would critique, but for what i need it for, it does everything i need and is attractive. The software and firmware has been updated many times since i bought it, bringing improved app stability and even some additional features. Unless you plan to use your watch as an all-in-one smart device (way too small in my opinion) then this device offers plenty to play with and some attractive face downloads. Battery live is incredibleif you’ve not got a smartwatch and want to dip your feet, this is probably the best way to see how useful one might be, without breaking the bank. I’m hooked and looking to start collecting smartwatches because of this one.

Watch comes in with a decent packing. Easy to download app and sync with your phone. It’s very cool looking round design. You have a variety of watch faces to customise. I’m using it quite from some months with my iphone and it’s very good experience. Most amazing thing about this watch is battery life. Putting all notifications on it last minimum 2 weeks otherwise it goes to three weeks as well. Step count is perfect but if you put gps tracking on sometimes it’s not perfect. Notifications display very well. I would recommend to buy because you aren’t spending 300/400 £ and worrying about to charge next day.
Fantastic looking watch, with amazing battery life , huge selection of faces available. I use the step counter sleep tracker and gps for my walks in the dales. I have found the gps function accurate, unlike other reviewers, that being said i live in open countryside with no high rise buildings, would heartily recommend.
