Garmin Vívoactive 4S – Great size and looks good

Love this product have had it for almost a year now in rose and white gold and it still looks greati use it for tracking lots of different workouts and it does a great job, gps is fast and reliable. Paired easily with headphones and i charge it when i shower, easy peasy.

I’ve had this watch for 3 months now as a replacement for a fitbit charge 3 (i wore tham in tandem for the first month to compare) and i love it although on reflection maybe i shouldn’t. It looks great on my skinny wrist and as a running watch i can’t fault it as i can’t run far enough to challenge the battery life on gps. My biggest gripe is floor counting or altitude gain, the floor counting algorithms are poor, no, the algorithms are appalling. It generally fails to count floors when out walking, it’s not the sensor as it does count the floors when recording a run or walk. I walked up a long steep hill a few days ago and registered 1 floor so yesterday i set the activity tracker for a walk and repeated the hill and was awarded 18 floors. The same with a long undulating walk last week giving one or two floors then running the same course and registering 53m vertical climb and 20+ floors. The floor counting on fitbit was excelllent and always reflected what i expected from a days activity. Another minor gripe is the garmin pay, i was looking forward to using this and leaving my emergency credit card behind when out for a long run but the only standard uk bank to work with it is the bank of ant and dec so without opening a new account i can’t actually use it. I am also underwhelmed by the garmin sleeptracking features, if it is to be believed i should be seriously ill with my critical lack of deep sleep although maybe the fact that i don’t appear to ever wake up in the middle of the night makes up for this. Again the fitbit had a far superior model for this.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. She can monitor her exercise, sleep etc, which she links to a fitness plan app. Unfortunately at present garmin are experiencing some problems but this has not diatracted her with its use. It is certainly helping her with weight loss and getting fitter and she is happy with look and feel. Overall a good purchase which earned me a few brownie points to.

After research i settled on a vivoactive 4s to replace my forerunner 35. I took a bit of a punt as there were quite a few criticisms of the display and the battery but so far i have been very pleased with this watch. I got a 4s as my small male wrists can’t cope with the normal huge trackers that are out there. It looks great (silver/grey), is much sleeker than the forerunner and has a good size strap. Fit could be a little better, but that is more a function of my wrist than the watch. Legible in daylight and most detail can be seen in low light without backlight on. The backlight makes everything easily readable in the dark; i have it set to come on only when i tap the screen and for the shortest time available. It can be set to come on with gestures too, but i found it coming on when i didn’t want it, wasting battery.

Bought this to replace my fitbit versa because i was sick of the inaccuracy and missed routines. The vivoactive is more accurate, by that i mean runs and walks show the same distances not like my versa. It is comfortable to wear although the strap is a little on the short side and is on the last few holes on my wrist. The battery life is not as long as advertised if you monitor pulse ox but charging doesn’t take long and is no trouble. The app is better than the fitbit app and gives all kinds of information to digest. I am still finding my way round it but impressed so far. Well pleased with my purchase so far.

I have had a vivoactive 3 for the past 18 months and asked for the vivoactive 4s for an early christmas present simply because i liked the idea of it being smaller. I’m actually thrilled with the upgrade- i find it, in general, to be more accurate than the vivoactive 3- now it actually notices that i climb the stairs 20+ times a day rather than claiming that i don’t climb them at all. I also think the heart rate metric is a bit more accurate as it picks up an increase faster. I have had no trouble pairing it with multiple pairs of bluetooth headphones, but to be honest this feature isn’t one i will use once the newness wears off, as it’s extremely hard on the battery and in any case i never go out without my phone and i am not a user of any paid streaming service and have no desire to become one. Garmin pay works well (i’m using revolut to have access to it) and the body battery metric is very useful and seems accurate in recording when i’ve had an exhausting day and how refreshed i am after a night’s sleep. The battery life is nowhere near as good as i got with the vivoactive 3, but this is only to be expected with a smaller watch body. I need to charge it every second or third day whereas the battery on the vivoactive 3 usually lasted five days. For me it’s worth the tradeoff as the watch is far more suited to a woman’s wrist than the vivoactive 3. I’m not an extreme athlete- my only regular activity is walking- but i find this watch to be exactly what i need.

  • I love it but some major flaws.

  • Great size and looks good

  • Impressed so far

I dithered between this and the venu, and i’m happy i chose it. I am a man, but i have skinny cycling arms so i didn’t want a monstrous watch, and this 4s model is the same diameter as a regular e. Seiko man’s watch, just a bit thicker. I’d definitely recommend if you are relatively slightly-built like me, but the strap wouldn’c be long enough for a larger man’s wrist, you’d want the bigger 4. I love the always-on display, which is really clear in sunlight. It takes a while to find a watch face you get on with, but the customisation options are virtually limitless. The phone notifications are really useful. If you bank with santander, the wireless payment is super convenient for when you are out and about and need to buy a drink or a snack.

Great watch, quite poor battery life.

I got this for my husband who doesn’t even wear a watch and he loves it. Very accurate readings and great watch faces.

After using it for a few months i can say that i really love it. I am using it every day 24 hours, went for big walks, workouts, work, sleeping. Only thing that could be updated maybe that it’s great that it reminds you to move when you sit for a time, but during work i’m standing at a station, walking back and forth in 2m, and it feels bad when it tells you to time to be more active when actually you are constantly moving but in a smaller area. Other than that really love every function on it and helps me keep an eye on my hearth rate too.

Stylish watch, i was worried it would be too chunky on my small wrist but it’s very comfortable, so easy to set up the app and connect watch. It has a lot of features and activities, which is great for me as i like to keep fit. You can even personalize your watch face. I’ve only had this watch a few days but i am very happy with it so far.

This is an excellent all round fitness tracker.

I moved over from fitbit to garmin and i would say i’m really pleased with it. It means i don’t need my phone for runs anymore. It’s also been great for cycling. The website is pretty good also has route planners and such but you can’t get directions on your wrist. Seems pretty accurate for the most part, notifications from my google pixel appear on the watch too. Battery life seems great too – even for long 5-6 hour rides i still have battery life. Otherwise it last maybe 4-5 days without charging though i tend to plug it in whilst i shower. Downsides, the mobile app is messy and confusing but you get used to it. It over estimates sleep and doesn’t track sleep as well as fitbit did. Otherwise great watch and fitness tracker would recommend.

I spend a lot of time reading reviews trying to decide whether to get the vivioactive 4s or the galaxy active 2. I decided i wanted a sports tracker rather than a smart watch so i went with the 4s. So far i am pleased with my choice. Setup – this was easy enough with a few restart / uninstall and reinstall teething problems. Looks – i am a small woman with small wrists so i was (happily) limited with choices for a fitness watch as they are all so huge. I didn’t consider any of the other garmin watches for this reason. I spent a long time deliberating over the colour and between the black and the powder grey i am very pleased with my choice of powder grey. It looks smart and fashionable and i was worried it would look cheap and clunky. Fitness – so far i have only used it for a run and i was pleased with it. It connected to gps quickly (although not as quickly as my phone) and recorded accurately.

Vodafone V-Kids Watch – Good idea, poor execution

Son loves his new smart watch. Well made, location accuracy not always the best but my iphone xs max is sometimes off too. The general location coupled with voice notification should be enough if we needed to local our son. Worthy purchase if you can buy it on offer like i did. Not to sure it’s worth the full rrp. Setup isn’t straightforward so be prepared to spend sometime setting it up. Once the product is all set up it really is a good piece of kit, it takes little time to go through the process with the vodafone sim but it is worth doing. It is easy to voice message and gives me peace of mind with the sos function built in, the games are a good feature to keep the little one entertained. The gps tracking works well with the vodafone signal and no problems so far. Love this, it’s a brilliant well designed product but the battery life is very disappointing. Esta muy bien, yo se lo he comprado a mis hijos y es casi exactoen la posición aunque podrian mejorar la interface e incluso

INIUPO Kids Smartwatch : A++++++

My 6 year old son loves this watch. Charging and adding music is so simple. The battery holds its charge brilliantly for days. The option to add 10 contacts is great as well. The strap is very soft and comfortable to wear. I bought the gifgaf 2g sim card and it works perfectly. Nought for my son and he absolutely like it. The strap is soft and the screen is very clear. Battery life is good but he keeps fiddling with watch so it drains the battery a bit early. Apart from that, happy with the purchase. I bought this watch fory kid for her birthday , she loves this watch it has many attractive features with games in it with music and camera and many more , she’s is much in love this watch predent, it’s colour is very vibrant i highly recomnf it to buy. This is really good watch i brought it for my nephew. He was over the moon and really happy. Many functions on it and can also be used as phone, text message, camera. Shows time in both format digital and analog. Looks really good too a

Vannico Kids Smart Watch Tracker Watch : Fabulously

I bought this for christmas present and i’m so happy that is really useful for everyday and less worries when we’re going out sometimes she running around and this is very helpful and easy to find her becuase it’s watch i’m not worried she’s gonna lose it the app is easy to find and set up and accurate every time. Got this for my son as we didn’t really know what to get him for christmas. It was super easy to set up and has been keeping our son more engaged in checking the time (i think the fact that it’s more than just a watch led to that enthusiasm). I got this for my niece and nephew and i saw blue and pink ones as an christmas gift they loves it. Very easy to set up and use and comes with many features. She particularly loves the camera and her mum loves it because she fells more safety, comfortable to wear and looks so high quality. Cool watch very easy to use no complicated menu or anything like that has all functions requiered for device like that ( but not stuffed with usele
