HUAWEI WATCH GT 2e Smartwatch – Great, if its functionality is what you want

Great display, size, weight, battery. Everything about the watch is great. The problem is with the app that you have to use with it. There is one key problem with it, the step count. The app on your phone counts them as well as the watch which means you have great inaccuracies, google it, it has been an issue with the huawei health app for ages which may be why there are so many for sale in new, unopened condition. If huawei simply gave the option in the app to take the step count from one source, the watch would be a clear 5 star rating. Come on huawei, get your techies on it and you might sell more wearables.

Excellent bright screen which doesn’t wear out the battery. I charge it on average, every ten days. The app is in the development phase at the moment so has some limitations. It doesn’t ring my phone when i lose it-though it says it is doing so. Also the altimeter doesn’t link with the app, which is rather annoying as it’s extremely accurate, so i cannot record how much i have climbed on the phone, but can on the watch-bizarre. Watch faces fairly limited at the moment, but the one i use is the one that has the most information i need. Overall a great watch, with an amazing battery life. A little on the large side- but this makes it easy to see.

Firstly, this isn’t really a smart watch, it’s a really good fitness tracker which is what i wanted. Everything works really well from the screen to the sleep and gps. My only problem so far is that the huawei health app doesn’t upload to strava just yet, hopefully they’ll sort that with a future update. The battery is as good as they say, i’m getting well over a week and i run quite a bit.

This is a very good looking watch and performs very well on tracking side of things. You cant add any apps which for me an absolutely no problem at all as i want to use it as tracking device/watch which it does very well to my surprise. The downside is that you cant watch independently to the app as the app on your device collected all the data. The other thing i do not like is that in exercise mode there are very limited options, i would like to have different sports mode like tennis, badminton soon or even general sports as the current app only has running, swimming /triathlon. The recent update got new faces which is very good but it makes the watch slightly slower in my opinion. Overall great watch slightly let down by the software but i can more than live with that.

I’ve only had this watch a few days, and so far, i love it. It does not pretend to do everything that an android wear smartwatch does, but everything that it does, it does well. I have previously owned a huawei w1 classic, which i returned, as it was just too flaky. Apart from that, its battery life was useless; especially if you wanted to use it for sleep monitoring. For the last 18 months i’ve had a huawei fit watch, which has decent battery life, but a dull monochrome display, and difficult user interface. That device provides in a decent sleep monitor (although it thinks you are asleep if you stay very still) and step counter, and when taken for a walk or run with a smart phone, combines gps data from that device to plot the route, using the health app, and computes stride length, cadence etc. It provides message notifications and vibrates when phone calls are received. It’s heart rate monitor takes intermittent samples, and is a bit flaky; sometimes producing erroneous, dangerously high, one sample long peaks. The huawei watch gt should be considered to be the replacement for the fit, and not a member of the w1, w2 smartwatch family. It starts with the functionality of the fit watch, adds to it, and removes most of its weaknesses.

This is my first smart watch and so far i have been very happy with it. The watch is a good size but doesn’t feel bulky. The various watch faces are easy to select and use. The menu is straightforward to navigate. I’ve noticed a difference between distance/calorie tracking as compared to another app (i use endomondo). Not sure which is most accurate as both rely on gps. The huawei tracks under endomondo at the rate of almost one mile in every 12/13. Heart rate monitor is pretty much bang on. I’ve tested ‘manually’ alongside the watch and both measures come out the same. Message notifications are simple enough to set up.

This watch is very good value, light and comfortable to wear. It seems very accurate at tracking steps, with or without the gps (which locks on quickly). The heart rate monitor also seems to be accurate and the sleep monitoring is very interesting – better than i’ve experienced with samsung or garmin watches. The battery looks like it will last for more than the advertised 2 weeks, which is excellent. The downsides are the lack of watch faces (and lack of customisation) and slightly laggy interface, when compared with the galaxy watch. However, for the exceptional battery life, this might be a good trade off for many people.

TOPsic Compatible Garmin Fenix 5 Straps : Great

I couldn’t stand the silicon band that came with my 935. Softer and fits better for my smaller wrist. Soak them in vinegar water for overnight to take out the smell. Fits perfect and the price is right. Don’t know why people are saying poor quality. Feels and looks like the original. Great straps to switch in — almost identical to the actual straps that come with the watch, though perhaps a very very slight bit more flexible/softer. Great straps and will be buying other colors as well. No reason to buy from garmin and spend >2x as much, these are great. Close to a garmin original but half the price. Catches work well on my fenix5 – look like the original which fell apart after 2 years. No issues with the 40-50 activities i’ve done since buying (cross bike/running). Will look to buy again if i need any more. Good fit and looks good now have yellow and blue :). Like that it arrived with tools required – easy to fit. Fits great, and very secure. I got the neon green one for biki...

Samsung Mobile UK Qi Quick Charging Station – If bought for a note 7 ensure you have a compatible quick charge wire for the dock

Do need to buy compatible wire separately which i was expecting and brought in advance. Can place fingers around charger to use phone and charge at same time. Ok but doesn’t come with a cable or plug. Great samsung galaxy qi wireless charging stand. Works perfectly after using it for a couple of months. Easy and straightforward charges my samsung s6 phone just over 2 hours from 0 battery life. Blue led indicator lights up whilst on charge and when fully charged led light turns green. Purchased from amazon directly. I love being able to see the time without picking up my phone or who’s calling or the date. I love not having to plug it in or out every time i want to use it/charge it. It’s white matching my desk and my other wireless charger and stops the cable always falling down the back. The blue light is a little bright for the bedroom but sort of acts as a night light. It takes a little longer to charge than the cable, even as a fast charger, but it’s an acceptable level. Buying...
