Ticwatch Pro 4G/LTE Smartwatch, Quality

Brilliant watch, one of the better wear devices i have tried. Due to the dual display function the battery life gives you 2 days on a charge, although less if you’re a heavy user. All the functionality you would expect from android wear 2. 0 including play store, google pay, etc. The fitness apps work perfectly, heart rate monitoring when using them too.

I have had this watch for few days and so far have been impressed by its features and ease of use. I use bluetooth connectivity and cannot comment on 4g/lte features. Switching on the watch, there is a guide to connect it with the phone. The connection was straight forward (just followed the instructions on watch) and importantly has been stable with no disconnections. The notifications come through promptly, which was the main reason for getting this watch. Being in an open plan office, having audio alerts is not practical. Vibrate and silent modes lead to missing messages. On each notification or call, the watch vibrates and i feel it on my wrist. It has the capability to reply to messages, with obvious limits given the size of the screen. I have been impressed with audio translation into written messages.

I’ve been researching smart watches for a while now. The things that i wasn’t willing to compromise on were:- no lag- nfc and google pay compatibility- decent battery life (more than a couple of days)- google integration- pulse rate measurement- phone and message notifications- waterproofi upgraded from a fitbit charge 2 so was keen to keep all the features that had. All the other bells and whistles the ticwatch had i wasn’t too fussed about. So this thing ticks all those boxes and sooo much more. I’m not with vodafone in order to take advantage of the esim feature – but the bluetooth tethering is fine for me for now. Despite there being, probably billions of smart watch faces on all the various apps out there, i haven’t really found one i like, but the stock faces are fine. I’m not a heavy user of the smart watch features – the lcd overlay screen is generally enough. I’m still in my first week of having it and have charged it twice which seems very good – and the manual says the battery life improves after the first week too. I’ve had a few queries which i’ve had to email the mobvoi team about and they’ve been so impressive and get back to me within 24hrs. Its incredibly light for its size.

I purchased this watch and it arrived on wednesday. It was very easy to setup and i was in business within an hour. The battery life is as it says on the tin. I have tried many other watches with cameras, they were all returned as the battery life turned out to be less than a day. Their screens were too small for a proper display and the way the cameras were fitted made it hard to take a proper picture. I was a bit hesitant in purchasing yet another smart watch but i am glad i did, i can take phone calls, received them and texts as well, whatsapp is no problem and the fact that it supports vodaphone e-sim made it easy to keep the same mobile number.

Ticwatch pro 4g/lte is a solid smartwatch. I was worried about its size that it might look a bit bulky on my small arm, but it fits nicely and doesn’t feel heavy at all. It’s got a decent performance, haven’t noticed any lagging so far. I haven’t had a chance to test the 4g connectivity yet as i’m with virgin. Good news is, that they are planning to move over its service provider to vodafone network so i might have a chance to test this in the near future. I like the layered display that conserves battery life although i haven’t used it much that way as the battery life was ok to last a day with a lot of messing around with it. I’ve used it once while i was out cycling and was tracking correctly my location and health. So far, i’m happy with it and it was a good investmentmobvoi’s customer support was very very helpful in sorting out this replacement for me for my previous ticwatch c2 which i had some minor issues.

This watch is awesome and does deserve five starsi’ve had several mobvoi watches/products, (ticwatch 2, tichwatch pro, and the ticwatch pro 4g lte)i personally have not had any problems with quality for all the devices. In fact, i’d go as far as to say for the size of the company, the quality of the products is immense, with a great price point. My personal experience of activating the vodafone uk one number against the esim, is it worked fine. On android at least with the my vodafone app in the uk you can setup and configure the onenumber setting from inside there, from the main screen you have the option to manage onenumber, simply login to the app and follow a few simple instructions, (accept that you’re going to be charged and setup the number sharing) vodafone took a few hours to setup my onenumber (they text me when it’s was complete), i then went back to the same app, this time you’ll see a qrcode that’s for the mobvoi companion app, (available from play store as well) the app can read the code to configure the device. Under communication settings in mobvoi app you have options to read a qrcode, the beauty of this part is if you took a screen shot of the qrcode on your device from the vodafoneapp, when you setup, you can later point the mobvoi app to this in your pictures folder. Failing that open the vodafone onenumber site on your pc or other device and scan the qrcode that way. Your device will restart once activated, when the esim is activated the device will connect to 4g/3g when in network coverage, the watch is clever though, it will use the bluetooth from your phone when its available (to save power) if your phone is out of range, it may well connect to wifi(list is from phone), and if no wifi is available the device connects to the 4g network. My experience of the swaps is good, the device manages this well, to prove it was working for me, i just disabled the other options as a test (but i don’t recommend you leave it this way)i also left my phone at home for the afternoon, and went out with just the watch, the results were very good, i confirmed phone, sms all worked as expected when in standalone mode, and i also downloaded apps from play store (for the test i downloaded google maps) and then used the gps to track my location whilst on 4g, the device behaved correctly, once gps found my location. Whist out i also observed that the notification that would be appearing on my phone at home came thru to the watch, and i was able to dismiss them also another tickthe battery of the device can last 2 days if used with bt primarily, (and make sure you run the device for several days before you start to judge the batter life as well, it says this in the manual first day it might do firmware updates and app updates for exapmple) as a test i had around 90% battery on my watch, i went out on the stand-alone trip above, the watch was using 4g for about 5 hours in all, with a 1-hour gps tracking ticexercise session included for a ramble, before returning home and back to “normal” use (i.

What a great smartwatchi had 1 or 2 smartwatch in the past but never been too impressed with them. With this one it is another story. This watch has a lightweight silicone strap which does not irritate your skin or ruins with time. The alluminium back cover is great if you have a nickel allergy like i do. The screen is protected with a gorilla 3 anti-finger print cover glass. Has a dual screen (fstn and amoled) but i use mainly the amoled because it is stylish. However, the battery life is reduced with the smart mode. Inside, the smartwatch has 1gb ram and 4gb rom which make it a very fast and responsive watch. I love the fact that is also waterproof and the speaker is water resistant.

Great battery life

Great smartwatch, great battery life

Ok i was so excited to try this watch and it worked great with gpay. However don’t bother using it with youtube it wont download it and most of the apps you want cant be found thanks to the new os ware. Aprt from tjat the battdoes not haveery life is ok but the screen never stays on long enough to to show it ofeven on always on. And as for 4g yea vodafone want £7 to activate it and £18 on contact free call and text unlimited. Sound good a guys yea giffgaff no esim is £10 for 3gb and unlimited calls. Its just a shame my samsung gear s3 doesnt have gpay my bank does not support samsung pay tsb. I even bout the gen 5 tick watch pro and tht had terrible speaker phone calling and laggy ware os 2019 kind regards mark.

So if you’re an android user and are with vodafone you’re in for a treat. If you’re on another network and are tied into the apple eco system then it’s a different story completely. Now don’t get me wrong it’s a good device and with it’s dual lcd display technology it has the edge on every other device for those that can’t charge a device every day or two. So with the settings i used i managed to get 2 days use between charges. I loved the ability to pay with a watch that saved me getting my phone out. Every time you find that you can do something new, what you realise is that you can’t, my phone would send the watch a notification so at least i got the alerts but couldn’t read the full emails or so on properly. Also the round screen was well programmed to allow shrinking and expanding but in a nutshell it’s not the experience i wanted. Another down side here is the depth of the device. It’s like wearing a huge diving watch.

1st smart watch i have owned. Took a while for me to find one which included being waterproof for swimming. Like it’s independence from my phone. Plus lots of apps to use from google playcustomer service post purchase from mobvoi is excellent.

Best android watch currently on the market. If you want a watch that can serve the essential functions of a mobile phone and allow you to disconnect from the addiction of a smartphone then this device is for you. Vodafone one number is all it takes to have a phone on your wrist. Six quid and your mobile number is duplicated on your watch.

It looks great, it’s quick, does everything i want from a smart watch and more. Battery life is around two days with my usage profile – but i do use it a lot and do have the screen always on as it looks good. I use google maps, fitness tracking, all of my emails and messaging notifications, make and take phone calls from the watch whilst my phone is in my pocket, google pay etc. So glad i purchased this product, just waiting for o2 to enable lte use and i won’t even have to take my phone with me everywhere.

2 day battery with heart monitor on 24/7waterproof and light weight. Has option to share the number, on vodafone so not sure about other carriers. Cheaper than apple watch and does the same job.

This is the 3rd smart watch i have owned, the first being the almost unbeatable pebble steal, unbeatable beacuse of its strong battery life. However when the pebble servers stopped so did much of the functionality so i switched to a tic watch e, which for normal day use is ok, wear os has matured to be useful (more so than pebble os was), but the biggest problem with most smart watches is battery life. I could opt for a hybrid smart watch, but i don’t want to lose the many features of wear os. Tic watch pro was almost the answer, but fell shore on spec. No swimming, lack of ram, but the tic watch pro 4g/lte addresses these and other minor design issues to create a good looking, comfortable to wear smart watch that with mixed usage am am already seeing almost 3 days of life out of – i have not needed essential mode yet. Think i may have finally found a pebble replacement. . Cannot use the 4g features as i’m not on vodaphone, but hopefully other suppliers will soon join the club with esim and mobvoi support.

Love it, apart from battery life. Got in touch with the makers that suggested a few tips to help extend the battery life. Still unable to connect with my carrier to use the watch without bluetooth. Too early to say if i could recommend because of the battery life. Other than that i am enjoying it.

I’ve had loads of smart watches, and this is my favourite so far. Compatible with ios or android. Great battery life, i charge it every 3 to 4 days, and great that it has wear os, so lots of personalisation available. You can link just via bluetooth (if you don’t want to use the 4g vodafone one number service) and this works great like any other smartwatch, within a 10 metre distance from your phone. Very happy with this product.

Bought this watch with tic pod earbuds on a promotion. First impressions on opening products was of a premium product. Nice packaging quality of a high end watch. Watch itself is well made tic pods are an excellent addition. All in all a quality product for value money. Be warned to use as standalone watch/phone you need to be on vodafone network.

As opposed to some of its competitors the ticwatch pro is a hefty beast, big and double the weight of its rivals. I used the iphone app to set it up and the app itself has a 1 star rating and is not very helpful and is lacking any advance features, after the set up was finished and i started playing with it for about half the day i kept the watch in just the smart mode and the battery was depleted in two days, considering that the only way to charge it is with its own charger (it has no other like charger available anywhere) you cannot use usb c or wireless charging so the charger has to go everywhere with you, if you are using the fitness mode they themselves state that it will only last four hours so no hiking or long distance marathons. It can only be used for running or similar activity as it is not 100% waterproof so it also excludes swimming. The essential mode removes virtually all the features of a smart watch and it will last thirty days, but what good is buying a £250 smart watch when you could buy a cheap watch for less than £5 and it only has essential mode, it negates the whole point of buying a smart watch, i mentioned earlier that the battery got completely depleted and it needed to be recharged so you can imagine my surprise when upon restarting it had somehow lost the date and time, it seems that even though it was plugged in and charging it only kept the time and date from when it was depleted. Rebooting the watch after the depletion was also painfully slow and i would guess this is down to a processor/memory issue, trying to reconnect the watch to my phone did not work anymore either as it lost the information needed to sign in to either my phone or my router. To run this watch you need both a google account and a mobvoi app and account, i would have expected that a smart watch could run smoother without the need for multiple apps and accounts, it was also disconcerting that it requires you to give all your information to google and i’m not sure if mobvoi had the same access?the heartbeat feature also threw up a neat little surprise when it told my dad that at seventy and sitting in a comfy chair he was in a resting phase and a moment later when he moved his position in the chair it told him that he was now in warm up phase, he was quite chuffed that he could exercise by doing so littleand finally it is a relatively affordable smart watch and a very expensive watch in essential mode, all in all there is absolutely nothing about this smart watch that i either found useful or helpful and could not recommend it at all and that is very disappointing as i really wanted to like this ticwatch and finally get myself into the smart technology age.

This thing is lightening quick. It’s tougher than a rhino down to its military grade build, and it’s waterproof so you can sing with it in the shower too. What more do you want in a smart watch?. Seriously though i’m very impressed by this device its easy to navigate. It has a lovely vibrant screen with lots of vivid colours due to its amoled screen. It’s a pleasure to use and it didnt take me long to set up right out of the box. Absolutely no lag and so tactile to hold its a pleasure to operate.

An good upgrade from the original ticwatch pro. Always like fast nfc google pay payments.

Excellent smart 4g watch which i can’t fault. The biggest problem you will have is getting a clear answer off vodaphone with the one number package and good instructions from ticwatch/ mobvoi. I got there in the end but only through pure luck and determination. The problem is the outdated qr code for the 4g connection.

This doesn’t compare with an apple watch but is among the best wear os watches. It represents good value, at £249 or less. There’s no point in going into detail on functionality, that’s covered in the description and by other reviewers. I’ll just make a few observations. The first thing is that it’s rather bulky – too bulky, in my view, for small wrists. Then there’s battery life, which isn’t the best, despite the layered display. Still, it should last a couple of days, which is more than can be said for the apple watch 5. By the way, the side buttons don’t do a great deal, compared with some other smart watches. I don’t mean to sound too negative, because overall this is great value, but it seemed worth highlighting a couple of the less positive aspects. On the plus side, performance is pretty good.

Use this watch every day for work just to measure steps & km. It’s syncs to my iphone so receive calls & messages through it. Not yet explored it fully but so far very happy. Fits & looks very nice so for the price no complaints.

Quick and doesn’t lag at all.

After a long search for a suitable wear os device, i found the ticwatch pro 4g, and i was impressed initially, but sadly had to return it. The battery is best described as strange, despite consistent daily usage, the battery life would vary hugely day to day, some days it was and others it was gone by lunch. Battery life aside, it was a great device, really nice design and the two screen set-up works well, as do all the other wear os features. Will look into the ticwatch pro 3 once available and hope it offers more consistent battery life.

Google pay works very well and the other features are great.

I’ve had the watch for 4 weeks now and really pleased with it – exactly what i wanted and for me, it was a toss up between this and the samsung galaxy active; when i can, i’ll outline why i opted or this. Build quality: very premium feel; the silicone strap is comfortable; the case, bezel and buttons all feel true to the claimed ‘military’ standard. Definitely a bulky watch and at first, with wrists on the thin side, i thought it wasn’t for me. I got used to it quickly and think it looks fantastic. However, i can only imagine it could get uncomfortable for someone who buys this primarily for fitness. I bought it to quickly check notifications and reply to messages. Also, i really wanted a watch that wasn’t obviously a smart watch, which is why i was more drawn to this than the samsung. The buttons are responsive 99% of the time but i have noticed lag on occasion. Screen: i adore the dual screen, which means i can check the time without activating the main amoled screen, which i’m sure helps with the battery life. It is difficult to see the saver screen in low light, in which case the amoled screen can be used.

This is my first smartwatch and to be honest it took some time getting my head around it. However once i got going really like it now. Particularly like the ease of paying with the watch and the sleeptracking. Was having a little trouble getting the sleep data on the smartphone app and contacted their support email which i imagined would be like most ‘helplines’ whereby you send a detailed enquiry and get a generic totally non-personal reply. However i exchanged several personalised, meaningful and helpful emails with them which helped to resolve my issue.

Great device, love the battery life and dual screens. Good speaker and mic volume and quality for calls. Had to raise a warranty call after one month for nothing major but device was replaced for new very quickly. Great communication from mobvoi and wonderful customer service. Great company and great product, very happy.

Great watch, i’m thinking before but i’m setup my watch, charging up 100% and lost about 20% for first 20 minutes. 1 hour later i have only 60% battery.

The first thing that i realised when opening up this watch is the size and bulk, it’s built like a tank and feels superb. Setup was simple, jus download the wearos app, turn on your bluetooth and pair the watch to your phone via the app. The built in 4g let’s you use a separate vodafone number with this watch to receive calls and texts, very handy. There are 100’s of watch faces available if you own an android device tho unfortunately i am using an iphone which cannot access the google play store, this is a big drawback as i can’t access a lot of the apps that are available tho i still find this watch more than useful for fitness and notification tracking. There is a second layered screen (see picture 4) that activate when your not using the watch’s screen and this saves a lot more battery and only shows you only the steps, time and date. Battery life gets me around 2 days of active use and if you use the second screens *essential mode* that only allows you to see the time, date and steps you can get insane battery life, we are talking weeks. The screen is beautiful and gets bright, you can change the watch faces to your liking also and this is a massive plus that smartwatches give you and being able to switch out the bands let’s you customise this watch to your hearts content. The notifications came through to my wrist no problem and the watch’s vibration is fine, not as strong as the applewatch. Overall a really impressive smartwatch, i have been using an apple watch series 3 for the past month and i could honestly switch to this without looking back. If you are an android user then this is a no brainier tho do some research if you are in the apple ecosystem then look at an apple watch and decide for yourself.

Having ordered the pro (non-4g) back in november for myself for christmas i was a little annoyed to learn of the release of the 4g version not a month later. . Following a very brief email conversation with someone in their customer service centre i have been overwhelmed with the helpfulness this person and the company have shown. To say i would happily recommend both the watch and the company is an understatement. Can’t wait to use the nfc payment with google pay and get all my previously laggy apps from my previous wearos watch moved over to the pro 4g and experience what the os is truly capable of.

This is my second ticwatch having upgraded from the ticwatch pro. It’s a lot quicker is response since it now has 1 gb of ram. It has a premium feel about it and it’s great that it’s water proof. I haven’t been able to use the lte feature. Update: i had an issue with the google pay disappearing app from my watch then reappearing when i reboot the watch. It appears this happens when you are in countries that don’t support google pay.

Lovely watch, i was going to get an apple watch 5 but baulked at the price as well as the limited watch faces and i’m glad i went for the ticwatch instead. Doesn’t work that well with an iphone but i’ve moved over to android and everything’s perfect.

I started with the tikwatch e shadow, which was great, then had an opportunity to get the huawei watch 2 and thought it had to be better. Now it was rubbish compared to the tikwatch one, so the huawei one day in a draw for a year, still in the draw now. I then upgraded to the tikwatch 2 pro 4g and its perfect. Rugged, water proof, fantastic call quality using vodafone one number function, battery life is as expected a shade over 2 days of normal use with the 4g set to automatic, by enabled, gps and wifi off as don’t need them. I live the watch, wife and kids think i’m sad but i don’t care.

Upgrading from the original ticwatch pro and the difference having 50% more ram is very noticeable. Everything is buttery smooth unlike the original. The duel screens work great and the watch looks good. Only problem i have had is trying to get the esim working, got everything set up vodafone’s end, uploaded qr code to watch and it won’t work. Tried again and the watch just threw network error messages trying to upload profile that required a factory reset to get rid of. Vodafone customer service say it’s not on their compatability list and can’t help. Not sure what’s going on but it’s annoying as i got this watch to use the esim features. So, nice fast watch loaded with features but with a few bugs that hopefully a firmware update will fix.

Vodafone V-Kids Watch – Good idea, poor execution

Son loves his new smart watch. Well made, location accuracy not always the best but my iphone xs max is sometimes off too. The general location coupled with voice notification should be enough if we needed to local our son. Worthy purchase if you can buy it on offer like i did. Not to sure it’s worth the full rrp. Setup isn’t straightforward so be prepared to spend sometime setting it up. Once the product is all set up it really is a good piece of kit, it takes little time to go through the process with the vodafone sim but it is worth doing. It is easy to voice message and gives me peace of mind with the sos function built in, the games are a good feature to keep the little one entertained. The gps tracking works well with the vodafone signal and no problems so far. Love this, it’s a brilliant well designed product but the battery life is very disappointing. Esta muy bien, yo se lo he comprado a mis hijos y es casi exactoen la posición aunque podrian mejorar la interface e incluso ...

INIUPO Kids Smartwatch : A++++++

My 6 year old son loves this watch. Charging and adding music is so simple. The battery holds its charge brilliantly for days. The option to add 10 contacts is great as well. The strap is very soft and comfortable to wear. I bought the gifgaf 2g sim card and it works perfectly. Nought for my son and he absolutely like it. The strap is soft and the screen is very clear. Battery life is good but he keeps fiddling with watch so it drains the battery a bit early. Apart from that, happy with the purchase.
