Amazfit Smart Watch : Fantastic, fantastic and again fantastic

I’ve had my amazfit for a couple of weeks so far and i can honestly say it is a brilliant piece of kit. I got it on offer with an additional 15% discount so only paid £50 and it promptly arrived the day after ordering (as you expect with items on prime). The watch comes professionally boxed and already had sufficient charge in for use, but i did follow the instructions and charge it fully. Currently the charge is sat at 64%, this includes the use of the heartbeat monitor and a custom watch face installed via an app downloaded from google play store. This is a really cool feature and the clock faces range from gaudy to stylish – all a matter of taste i suppose. My wife has recently bought a fitbit versa and we used her step count as a benchmark (we were on holiday last week so it was a reasonable estimate) and whilst the steps recorded on mine might not be 100% accurate it was definitely within the tolerance of accuracy you would expect. It has been interesting to compare the performance of the the 2 watches. Granted the fitbit has some nice touches that the amazfit is lacking (answer calls, reply to message, play music via the watch) and a slightly bigger screen it cost over £200. I’d say it all depends on what you want to spend and want from the experience. I have got a perfectly functional smartwatch, that is water resistance, will allow notifications from any app on your phone, custom watch faces, a whopping battery life, interchangeable watch straps, heart monitor, activity tracker, compass, gps (will give you your long/lat and altitude), alarms, stopwatch/timer and weather updates.

Very ligh, with very long battery life. Steps tracking seems to be accurate (in comparison to polar m430). Notifications work well, sync with iphone 8 without any problems. Sleep tracking works, didn’t analyse it. Easy to operate, touch screen works fast. Did the job as basic activity tracker.

This is an incredibly comfortable watch to wear. I can hardly tell when it is on my wrist. I bought it because i wanted something that would display text messages and reminders (i used to use a pebble watch). It does that job well, but i have also been using it to track my steps, and sleep patterns ‘because it can’ and have found it really interesting. It is a lot of device for the price.

I did extensive research on smart watches (including android, apple, hybrid watches, proprietor watches like this, and fitness band) and my requirements were:1. Battery lasts at least weeks not days4. App notification, and vibration strong enough to feel it during the day5. Good price – a price that’s worth it6. Not from some unknown manufacturers9. Sleep trackingthen, the only product i found to tick all the boxes, i mean all boxes, is this amazfit bip.

A not too expensive smartish watchit does what it advertises, it records steps, distance etc. Heart monitor is a little haphazard but do what, the gps works a treat. The phone notification works as it should and it tells the timeat this price a real bargain 👍.

You can change the faces with 3rd party apps etc and gps (triggered when starting an ‘activity’) is fantastic. The app and firmware recieves updates and i hope this is what will allow me to give it 5 stars because; if you do weights, there is no tracker for that which is a big drawback for me. Google fit and samsung health have a generic calorie burn per minute for weight lifting and i would love to see that added. Another drawback is there is no elliptical (cross trainer) tracker. I tried using the treadmill setting but it said i burned about a quarter of what i actually did. Also the heart rate was way off compared to the machine, but i have only used it once and i won’t judge that yet. For getting texts etc, it’s great. It’s stylish and functional. Just needs a few tweaks that could be solved with an update. Certainly worth the £59 i paid.

This watch is brilliantthe only thing i would say, is that it needs improvement in the fitness department as the algorithm used for tracking is not very accurate hence the 4 stars, the rest is great. Smartwatch capabilities are nice and simple.

This smartwatch is absolutely amazing. I am really really happy to have bought this smartwatch and still using it even after almost a year of every day usagethe smartwatch is extremely durable, and the most important of all the battery life is out of this world, having to charge it only 1 every 32 or 34 days, pretty unbelievable but trueit has gps, activity tracking features which over all are pretty amazing, has alarms, weather and compass. I am a swimming teacher, which means almost every single day i am in the water when i teach swimming and the water resistance had been perfect.

Really pleased with the quality and functionality of this watch for such a low price. I read the reviews and watched youtube reviews and knew it was good but in person it is better than expected. Great for anyone cycling or running and walking but unfortunately no intense workout like pushups. Loads of features you would expect only on a watch 4 times its cost.

It’s ok at what it does, however it’s overhyped and looks better on the page than it really is. Let’s be clear, it’s definitely not a smart watch. Don’t believe anyone who calls it that. Its a good mid range fitness tracker and if you want anything better you need to pay at least double or more. But you will get better for the money. The battery life is the biggest plus. Many complaints about the heart rate monitor not being accurate. I agree however i found that if you push the watch up the arm by an inch you will get accurate readings. I think the wrist does not provide good blood flow area for the sensor. The app could be much better and could have provided better analytics.

This watch does what it does very well. It (naturally) doesn’t have all the functions of considerably more expensive smart watches but it works very well on its range of functions.

I have bought the watch over a month ago and did not have to charge it yet. The font seems a bit outdated but as a smartwatch it does its thing. Many people asked me in fact if it was a apple watch-looks quite good.

I don’t use some of the functions except for reading emails and syncing it with my calendar. Battery lasts about 4 weeks plus. I was going to buy an apple watch but am glad i didn’t.

Great display always bright and clear without backlight. The menu is easy to understand and the touchscreen is smouth and responsive. The range of the steps and the heart beatrate are really close to the range shown on the fitbit. The push notifications are always on time,so you can leave your phone in your pocket. It works perfect with iphone.

I got the amazfit bip on 14th march. At the time of writing this (26th march) the battery is still sitting at 68% remaining. This is an amazing battery life, no matter how you look at it, and justifiably the bip’s biggest and best selling point. Pebbles were my smartwatches-of-choice prior to this because they had a week-long (roughly) battery life, and i didn’t want a watch i had to charge on a nightly basis (like the apple watch, moto 360, etc etc). So for that alone, it’s been well-worth it. It’s not the most full-featured thing you’ll ever use. There is no app support, and alternative faces have to be found via third party apps as the official selection is quite sparse, however this is not difficult or complicated. It does everything i personally need from such a device – tells the time, gives me in-app notifications and text messages, allows me to see who’s calling without taking my phone out, has a good step counter, a heart rate monitor and in-built gps (which is pretty accurate for the most part, with only the occasional miss). It’s also incredibly light; it barely feels like i’m wearing it at times. Although this may not impress those who prefer a metal, premium feel, i quite like that it’s light and unobtrusive.

For £65 this is an excellent smartwatch and basic fitness tracker. I am not a fitness fanatic, and really just want to count my steps and track my sleep (though the latter is not very accurate); and have important notifications sent to my watch, which this offers. It also offers an always on-screen and ridiculously good battery life, options not offered by much more expensive smartwatches. I’ve been wearing the watch for three and a half weeks and it is still on 24% from its original charging up to full capacity. It is small, light and comfortable to wear. The accompanying mi fit app is adequate, but not great, and after a few days it started under-recording my daily step count by a few hundred steps. The alternative amazfit notify and fitness app does a much better job in this and most other respects (though it doesn’t work properly for sleep tracking).

Balance the physical features, functionality and price which are most important to your own usage. For myself the main reasons i really like the watch are the visibility in broad daylight, battery life, notifications and weight/size. There is much greater functionality available on a fully smart watch but for myself i don’t think i would use it and the battery life and larger size would drive me up the wall. Positives:battery life of a few weeks. Physically lighter and smaller than most smart watches. A standard strap so it can be replaced easily. Does not cost hundreds of pounds so the risk of being unsupported in a few years is easier to swallow. The display is clear and looks good in daylight and is equally clear when sunny. Functionality such as weather, gps, activity tracking, sleep tracking, notifications, heart rate. Mi fit app is pretty good, running or walking includes gps route, heart rate, whether you are going uphill or downhill, pace etc.

Smart Watch, AMAZFIT Bip Youth Edition Glonass GPS Heart Rate Sport Fitness Tracker Watch 1.28″ Screen 32g Ultra-Light IP68 Waterproof 45day Standby by Gshopper Black : “what don’t you like” so far nothing. Much better than i expected, software apps a plenty. Had 64% charge already, so decided to leave it until i had played with it, that was 8 days ago, now showing 13% and recommending to charge. Using alarms, constant heart monitoring, uploaded and installed new watch face. Notification from sms, whatsapp, fotmob all perfect.

Fantastic, fantastic and again fantastic. This watch tracks and dose everything a £500 smart/fitness watch dose with 45 days battery life.

I’ve got the heart rate monitor going every 30 minutes but don’t really use much else and the battery just lasts and lasts. Looks like an apple watch but better in my opinion. The display is great in direct light, just like a digital watch. It’s not got all the bells and whistles of a proper smartwatch but it’s a great fitness tracker. And the battery is incredible. I know i’ve said that but it’s so good i thought i’d mention it twicei did get a rash from the strap since i don’t normally wear a watch 24/7 but i’ve swapped it for a cheap fabric one and so far so good. Uses just normal watch strap fixings so you can put any strap on that you like.

This is my third smart watch purchase and probably the best device so far. The battery life is amazing, i am on my second charge since delivery. You need to download the mi fit app from the play store, log in with your gmail account and then connect the watch via bluetooth. It will then update and set the time etc.

I have been using this watch for two months now. The functionality of the watch is incredible. The gps tracking was comparable to my friends garmin watch. The screen appears to be durable. I have knocked it several times but no obvious signs of wear and tare. I have recommended this watch to lots of friends who were also looking for budget smartwatches. The app on the phone can occasionally be buggy but is regularly updated.

Absolutely a must buy, for the price and especially the battery life for a smartwatch, and having a always on display is a nice feature to have.

Has a decent number of features, easy to navigate. Notifications are nice, even if not the best. You can easily go through them, but might take a bit if you have a lot of them. Battery life is the best thing in this watch, imo. Even with daily activity tracking, i can easily get more than a week out of this watch. Much better than most 1-2 days that others offer.

Well i’ve owned a few of these fitness smartwatch devices the best of which before i got this was a pebble. I’m very pleased with my decision in ordering one of these. Firstly the killer feature of this over anything including the expensive apple watch even is the ridiculous battery life. I hammer this watch with loads of notifications coming through everyday from various apps, using the gps and heart rate monitor for activities and generally just playing with it and it lasts for weeksthe screen although not a crisp high resolution one is very clear for what it is and gives you all the information you could possibly want from a cheap fitness/smartwatch. Also is actually better to read outside thanks to its transreflective nature. Also helps the battery life. Even with it being always on. You can have a multitude of app motivations pushed straight to your wrist. No you can’t reply to messages or make calls but i don’t need that, i just want to see texts, whatsapps, calls and various other notifications in a glance. This does it all brilliantly simply and well.

Absolutely the best smartwatch purchase. The fact the display is always on is brilliant and the battery life is superb. Glad i went for this instead of a fitbit.

After trying over 6 lower budget smart watches with heart rate finally found one that ticks 98% of the boxes. Proslow profile and light weightgood battery life. Day three with continuous heart rate and 3 runs with gps still 84%touch screen which swipe left and right to find apps. (not just push button to scroll through)heart rate monitor continuous and generally within 5% accuracy. No watch will be perfect bit for a budget watch this does wellchangeable home face so as simple as a watch to have all the readings on itbright face which actually see in day light and doing activitychangeable strapscharging holdermessages come onto the screen and font size is just big enough to be able to read (depending on eye site)consas mentioned wished the font on the messages was bigger and as you can scroll through would not be a problemalthough not the cheapest after checking a lot of the alternative as said the only improvement would be bigger font on messages, apart from that this has been spot on for mehope this helps.

Used for 4 weeks, configuration took less than 1 hour and works greatbare in mind that this is more for notification/fitness use, that means that you can’t download apps on this smartwatch. I’m using it mainly for notifications and sleep tracking, the display is very bright and it is always on so no need to flip your wrist to check the time. Pros:- battery life after 4 weeks it is at 14% ( usage only for notifications with minimum brightness and heart beat monitor every 10 min ) and i use it at night for sleep tracking- watch faces ( hundreds of watch faces downloadable from their website )- light weight- brightness of the screen cons:- heart beat detector ( i have hairy arms and the sensor often struggle and shows 100+bpm at rest )- it is not possible to download apps on the smartwatchthis is a great overall smatwatch/fitness tracker with an amazing battery life. It’s not possible to control apps like spotify directly but you can download miband2 and assign the button to next track, pause music etc. So you can still control apps but not directly.

I have an i-watch series 3 and wanted another watch to wear from time to time. This watch and the features it offers at the price that it is, is a real bargain. I am more than happy with my purchase.

Not very accurate with steps mainly because it registers arm movements, tracking for walking seems to be good with gps, heartbeat seem to be ok though like most wrist ones it stops working sometimes, the alerts from messages, emails, facebook and phone calls all seem to work ok. The screen works good without the light in house and outside, good that the display is always on and lots of watch faces to try, need the backlight at night but that can work with lifting wrist or button press, app that works with the watch on the phone for syncing, is ok but although i can put distance for miles on app watch always displays kilometers. The watch is good for the price but needs a few bug in the software sorting it could be very good, i did try a common more expense one before, but hated the display not been on all the time so this i a big bonus for me, the watch is very light and not to bulky, battery not run it down completly, i have it connected to phone all the time and heart reader on every minute, it uses 4 or 5 % a day with using gps once oe twice a day for walking, so about 20 or so days, im sure with a basic screen and longers heart rate sampleing it would last a lot longer but i just recharge when it around 50% anyway only takes about an hour then.

Much cheaper than many alternatives. It works reasonably well but i cant compare against more expensive alternatives. Not sure that the distance tracking while out running is accurate – it is different from my mobile phone fitness app. The best thing about it is that the battery lasts for days – easily more than 20 days without a charge.

Amazing watch so far with great battery life very good purcahse reccomennded.

Vodafone V-Kids Watch – Good idea, poor execution

Son loves his new smart watch. Well made, location accuracy not always the best but my iphone xs max is sometimes off too. The general location coupled with voice notification should be enough if we needed to local our son. Worthy purchase if you can buy it on offer like i did. Not to sure it’s worth the full rrp. Setup isn’t straightforward so be prepared to spend sometime setting it up. Once the product is all set up it really is a good piece of kit, it takes little time to go through the process with the vodafone sim but it is worth doing. It is easy to voice message and gives me peace of mind with the sos function built in, the games are a good feature to keep the little one entertained. The gps tracking works well with the vodafone signal and no problems so far. Love this, it’s a brilliant well designed product but the battery life is very disappointing. Esta muy bien, yo se lo he comprado a mis hijos y es casi exactoen la posición aunque podrian mejorar la interface e incluso

Motast Smart Watch : Works exactly as you would expect

Bought this watch as a gift for hubby, and it is keeping him very happy. Not only it looks good (and very handsome) on his wrist, the battery life is long enough, he has so far only charged once when it first arrived, and it has been going strong ever since. Have yet to try the other functions, but to be honest, for us, the good look and long battery life is the two most important factors when comes to choosing a watch. Loloverall, very happy with this purchase, highly recommend it. I loved itarrived in brilliant condition and the very next day after i brought it too, arriving in a sturdy solid box making it very secure and safe from any knocks and bruisesi bought this beautiful watch for my husband. He had expensive smart watch before but get broken. I really was thinking i will get chip one now temporarily and late buy different. But now my husband love his watch so much. Came in a small box along with an instruction booklet, charging cable. It was already half charged when it arriv
