I previously had the fitbit flex but wanted to upgrade and this is pretty much perfect for me. The exercise tracking settings are great as are the general settings like step count, floors climbed, calories burned etc. I’ve found it to be mostly accurate at tracking all these things and in particular with the heart rate which is far more accurate than i expected. The fit of the watch itself is really nice, the buckle clasp feels really secure and it fits nicely on my wrist. I have a fairly small wrist but the watch is very comfortable and i like the size of it; i quite like how big it is and that its quite masculine but i can understand how maybe that’s not for everyone. The display is easy to read in all lighting levels, bright sunlight and at night when the back-light comes on when you touch the screen. The battery lasts about a week for me as i have the heart rate monitor constantly going but this doesn’t bother me and it only takes about and hour and half to two hrs to fully recharge. The silent alarms work brilliantly too and ensure i don’t wake up the rest of my housemates when i get up early to workout and also help me set discreet reminders for during the day to take medications etc. It lasted very well through vigorous workouts and the screen has no scratches but i have noticed that the strap has started to bubble slightly which is something others have mentioned too but at the moment its purely only a cosmetic fault so i’m not too concerned but will contact customer services if it gets worse as i would hate to lose this watch as i love it so much.
Struggled with this product to be honest. There are many pros, but there are some glaring cons. I bought this back in august 2016, and it was a really easy set up. Connected to my iphone with no problems. The app is great, very clear, nice easy way of tracking exercise, calories and steps. It looks really nice, and fit perfectly. The plastic strap is comfortable and feels strong. The screen is good and clear, but i had to turn off the ‘automatic light up’ function, because if i moved my arm in the night, i was suddenly woken up by a blue light filling my room (let’s just say, it felt like ‘close encounters of the first kind’). Overall, user friendly and great exercise tracker. Now for the con, and it is a large one.
