Relatively easy to set up, however initially had some problems with the correct time/date. I had great assistance throughout and the issue was resolved. The location is slightly off, a street or so, but my son is going on a school trip tomorrow so will update if there are any problems. My son is nearly 11 and he is happy with the overall look and performance of the watch. The watch gives him reassurance that he can get hold of me when he does not have his phone.

The watch overall has a good build quality and looks good in any kids wrist. Bought this for my nephew and he is been loving it so far. Waterproofing has already been tested involuntarily by my nephew couple of times, so it is safe to say that it is waterproof. While the watch is not straight plug and play, i found the instructions very clear and straightforward. After setting up the device and testing, i can say that accuracy wise is not bad at all, of course it will depend of the room or place, but if it is an open space it normally is very accurate and in a room or when at school is not too far off. Activity tracking, which is basically only steps is not bad, but of course this is not a full blown smart watch with all fitness features, so don’t expect advance features. I’d say the watch is ideal for kids, they don’t really need to worry about calories and steps as they are always active anyway. Needless to say my sister loves the fact that she can easily check on her son’s location and that my nephew can easily get a hold of his mom or dad. Honestly, this is an amazing gift for any parent probably more than for the kids ^_^. If you have any problems, customer service are always happy to help.

This is very well built, i don’t feel as though it’s going to get broken too easily. The screen is good quality, as is the voice. Added bonus is it actually does look really good – i’m happy with this purchase.

Watch has a good feel to it, weight of watch is just right for child. Easy to set up but having a problem with 1 section but i will contact customer service to sort out. Apart from this i recommend the watch.

I bought it for a 12 year old who seems to love everything about it. It’s a good price for a smart watch that does almost everything a high-end smart watch does, just has a more basic interface. It’s also water resistant with a rating of ip67 (though i wouldn’t put it to the test seeing as it doesn’t come with any warranty). The watch face is a decent size for a child’s wrist and the black&red colour combination is actually pretty cool. The watch doesn’t come with a sim card so you’ll have to decide whether you want to buy one to use separately for this watch. As for the gps tracking, it’s one of the prime features of this watch. The tracking is hit and miss but never too far off. It has served its purpose for me, as it makes for an excellent gift for a kid that have earned it through hard work in school. Overall, i’m pretty impressed and happy with everything – including the price.

HUAWEI Band 4 Pro- Smart Band Fitness Tracker, 4.5 stars

Have had it since saturday and am pretty impressed. Battery is still @ 80% after having tracked 2* 1 hour jogging sessions, a walk and trusleep enabled 2 nights in a row. Gps seems accurate as compared to my phone (p20 pro). During jogging discrepiancy was i think 100m. It was about 200m during the 4 k walk where i took frequent nt stops ( so have to investigate what happens during the stops). Wheather at the time was also really bad. Sleeping tracking as far as i can tell is ok ( obviously difficult to asses but number of wake periods at night was correct). It is really great that it is waterproof as well. I am deducting one star since health app is not perfect. For example it is not very clear what data is dispalyed on the home page – phone or band and app. Setup out of the box took 20 mins on my phone. I use it mainly for tracking outdoor running. TOPsic Compatible Garmin Fenix 5 Straps : Great

I couldn’t stand the silicon band that came with my 935. Softer and fits better for my smaller wrist. Soak them in vinegar water for overnight to take out the smell. Fits perfect and the price is right. Don’t know why people are saying poor quality. Feels and looks like the original. Great straps to switch in — almost identical to the actual straps that come with the watch, though perhaps a very very slight bit more flexible/softer. Great straps and will be buying other colors as well. No reason to buy from garmin and spend >2x as much, these are great. Close to a garmin original but half the price. Catches work well on my fenix5 – look like the original which fell apart after 2 years. No issues with the 40-50 activities i’ve done since buying (cross bike/running).
