Many months on and still use this, i damaged an apple watch previously and it cost me a lot to replace with apple. This product has saved me many times and if paired with a black strap it looks excellent. No issues and would recommend.
I purchased this to do exactly what it says – i also purchased the front clear protector by the same company expecting total protection. Nope – you can only use one or the other wanted to return but the high cost involved means it will just have to stay in the cupboard – you want to protect the sides of your watch then i would give it 5 stars – given it 3 as they could have pointed out when i ordered them together that only one could be fitted.
Absolutely love this product. I have white on the black 42mm watch using the sports band and it looks lovely. I like thick gshocks and this tends to give the apple watch a more rugged gshock style without adding too much bulk.
Had this product for the last 24 hours. So cannot really rate the durability. My main cocerns of buying a apple watch case was;will it be too bulky?will is stick out like a sore thumb?will it be comfortable?after wearing it for a day, i can happily answer all three questionsno, it is not too bulky at all. Infact, i feel it is very flush with the watch. (especially if its a black wrist strap). It almost looks like part of the watchno, it does not stick out in my opnion. It is very sleek in design and i feel it compliments the apple watch. However i do feel the apple watch looks better without any case. I haven’t noticed the watch case on my wrist at all and it feels fine. For anyone with an apple watch that does alot of hands on work in their day to day. This case is ideal and i feel it’s a great price.
Spigen products are amazing quality especially for the price you payi’ve heard rumours that this case damages the watch caused by a build up of salts through perspiration. I would recommend removing the cover every two days and rinsing it under cold water. Like any normal human being would do. Well, one who looks after their possessions anyway. Fits my series 3 apple watch perfect and as for the chrome button at the side, i don’t find it a problem. I can use all the functions of the watch as i would without the case on, no problems at all. People moaning it looks too bulky. I have mans hands and wrists. It’s the look you want when using it as a sports watchit may interfere with the built in heart rate sensor, but we all know these optical sensors aren’t that accurate anyway. I always use my chest strap when i want accurate heart monitoring. It does lack a screen protector, but so do phone cases unless you go for the all out builders case. Just buy screen protectors separate and stop moaning. At the end of the day, what more do you want for £8 ???.
When you spend that much on a apple watch its madness not to protect it from bumps and scrapes. If you follow the install video instructions for the l/k screen protector it goes on flawlessly. It takes a bit of time but it is worth it for a flawless application. You just don’t know its there. When this is combined with the rugged armour case your watch should look good for years to come. The case easily removes when you are less active and less likely to damage your watch.
I have used spigen for a long time now as the quality for price is second to none and this is no exception. Good quality and fittment for an affordable price. I will have to buy another one as i bought a white one and forgot to take it off at work and got it dirty to a point it’s bedded in but having said that it done it’s job and protected the watch as it’s mint underneath still so yeah would recommend it.

Because it wraps round the watch face it is much better then the type that just sit over the top (have gone through two of those type) this one does make the watch face a bit more chunkier and you might have to loosen the strap a notch because of it, but it more then does what it says on the tin.
Id read the other reviews before purchasing this and was optimistic about the case. It was easy to instal and seems to be well made however its not as raised as i would like, if you were to drop the watch face down im not convinced if would offer much protection. Also its very squiggy if thats the right word so alot of movement if you press it. It does allow easy access to the strap areas so putting on new straps is easy. The screen protector you get is far too small, i think it would better fit the 38mm watch so maybe i just got the wrong one in the packet. Overall i think it will work for me in in my job but i wouldn’t buy another one when this fails.
Returned it as it is overly bulky and has a horrible garish silver button on the side for some reason. This will work for someone who really needs a massively protective case (a rugby player, or builder) – but the extra bulk seriouslt affects the look of the watch iit is genuinely ugly with this on)i think this one case is meant to cater for the first gen watches and series 1 / series 2 – so it is built to cater for the biggest of the 3. Might look better on the other models – looks awful on series 2i am a fan of spigen products – when i re-ordered, i looked for the slim version, but they didn’t have the black 42mm.
A good value bit of kit that prevents scratches and knocks without being one of those silly gel type cases that look horrid and attract dust and grime. Easy enough to install and looks rugged and feels well made.
I work on construction sites so i had to get this. It is abit pricey but it’s the quality that counts. It gives a rugged look on the watch. Would totally recommend this if you work in an area where it gets really messy and risks damaging your watch.
Done lots of research and having many spigen products thought i’d give it a go. Comes packaged as expected and fits great – only thing i’d like to have seen is a built in screen protector or one included in the kit. Having had a smart watch with a bumper fitted previously this still retains the sleekness of the iwatch with the added protection.

The rugged armor apple watch case is a very good fit and all the ports and buttons/digital crown are all accessible. It comes with two screen covers which i have not put on as they are too small for the screen. The case is very easy to fit and you can easily change the straps with out having too take the case off. The rubber is the same as the black sports strap and gives it a nice look.
I have always used this brand for my phones and so was the obvious choice for my iwatch. Had a motorcycle accident at approx 20mph but slid a bit on the road and the case did its job. I must admit my bike jacket covered the watch but there was still a slight scratch on the case and not the watch so at some point it made contact with the ground. A few people have said it dosent look like an iwatch with this case but a cheap chinese copy, however i see that as less likely to get mugged for it.I also do kettlebell workouts and so far no issues on the screen.
The case was easy to fit and i’ve used it ever since. Makes the watch a bit bigger overall but fits well, as though its part of the watch itself. The button is part of the case and again looks as though its part of the watch. Initially i had no problems with the button but i’ve now used it many times with apple pay and find that pressing the button twice in quick succession is a bit fiddly so i have removed the button from the case allowing the watch button to be visible. This can be pressed quite easily but te case it self is squashed, but it does allow apple pay to work every time. Overall its very good and besides the button faultess and i’d buy one again if i needed a case for an apple watch.
Ordered this cover before so was easy to find and reorder. My first purchase is now damaged as i am a builder so it was only a matter of time before it would need replacing. I needed something tough for the job of protecting my iwatch so it was a no brainer in ordering from the same company. This time ordering i found there is no screen protector which is the main reason for ordering. After checking this out , it looks like the case is slightly edge to be able to this , however this is not suitable for me due to dirt and dust still being able to get to my screen. I would like to return this item but can not find the process to do so , any ideas amazon ?.
Bought the black case originally as it’s slightly cheaper for my series 3 stainless steel watch. Didn’t think much of it from the description/picture but felt the watch needed some protection so got the black one just to try it. I’ve gotta admit though i love it. It fits so nice you don’t actually realise it’s on the watch. Provides good protection and gives some cover to the screen.
Wish i had known about this when i purchased my apple watch, which i managed to break within the first six weeks of ownership by cracking the glass. The watch apps remain accessible although i did have a difficult time fitting the watch in, once on it is very comfortable.
I had completely stopped wearing my apple watch due to a numbing feeling, i stopped wearing it days after buying it sadly. This case has stopped the numbness, i think i may have a nickel allergy or something so if you’re having the same problem this type of case works wonders. So happy i can wear my watch again.
It fits a treat and i have it going over another tempered glass whole screen protector as well. It looks fantastic and feels excellent and protects from those everyday bumps.
I bought this to protect my watch when in the workshop at work, however, it proved to be more of a nuisance than i wanted so i have ceased using it. I already had a thin screen protector on the glass portion of my watch and wanted this to protect the metal case. Unfortunately this case started to remove the screen protector after just a few minutes. The case looks good but unfortunately, in practice, it was a pain. I guess sometimes products like the apple watch were made as good as they could make them and still have them slim and function. I have continued to use the glass protector and would recommend on to anyone looking to have any form of smart or regular watch.

Watch case is as described, works perfectly for protecting my watch- i use it as a fob watch to protect it when it’s attached to my trousers and as this is works brilliantly. However, as a case for the watch on your wrist it does make it very chunky. Fine if that’s what you’re after, but does look too big on my wrist.
I bought this for my grandson who inherited his mums i watch series 2 when she updated to series 4. It was a rose gold one, this covers this and makes it more suitable for him, only thing which in my opinion would be better, would be that it covers the round crown, otherwise my grandson loves it.
Does its job well, also having some raisivity on the apple watch screen. Easy to put on and off the apple watch itself. The only downside (hence the 4 star rating) is that the silver button occasionally falls off, and if not careful can be lost easily. Great product which offers very good protection for my apple watch while at the gym.
I got this for my apple watch version 2 initially, it has saved the watch getting damaged on quite a few occasions. I traded my apple watch in to apple and when i took the cover off, the assistant stated that it was like new, i’ve fitted it to my new watch version 4, it fits ok, even though my previous was 38mm and the new one is 40mm. The item was delivered in good time and was cheap to purchase, i’d recommend these to anyone.
I recently smashed my hermes apple watch and had to get a replacement from the apple store. I held off opening my watch until this case arrived. The case does feel quite chunky but does fit very snug around the watch and is not as uncomfortable as i thought when i first opened it. Hopefully won’t be breaking it again. Didn’t realise it came with screen protectors either which is an added bonus. I’ve rated 4 stars as i can’t feel the watch vibration as much with the case on. Would happily try out other products from this seller.
I received this product timely. I unboxed the item to already have a mentally structure of the kind of product this would be since it’s spigen based. I inserted my iwatch3 in the product and i can honestly say it fits snug, needs a tad pressure to place the straps on but when fitted correctly, fantastic. So far so good, with the product. All my iphone cases are spigen and they’ve never given me issues hence the same branded case for my iwatch.
The case looks ok when on, but my word it’s very fiddly to put on, especially if you have screen protector on. The silver button below the crow gap is not straight and fell out completely when the case was removed from the box. It’s back on now but the whole issue calls into question the build quality. 99 but spigen stuff is usually pretty good so to have this issue is disappointing. I’ll update if necessary because now that it is on, it looks good and will protect the watch. I’m concerned about the alleged issue of moisture getting trapped when exercising causing corrosion, so will check after todays bike ride.
A great investment for protecting your watch. After breaking my previous watch from catching it on a wall i decided to buy this to protect it from knocks and scuffs and it does the job extremely well. It’s extremely easy to install and doesn’t look too bad on. Obviously the watch doesn’t look as sleek, however, if you don’t mind the rugged look, then this is fine. I did try to add a screen protector to the face too but the this case seems to pull the edges off.
I’ve been using the black version for over a year now (since i bought apple watch series 3) and decided to try a more sporty version of the case and saw that spigen has a white version of this case, which combined with a nike white strap looks absolutely brilliant. Spigen should make more colors really, like a green-neon type to combine with the original nike colour strap for example. More colours please, spigen.
Speedy delivery, fits well, looks the business and gives me piece of mind. Can’t complain and i was surprised as to how easy it was to install.
