Unlike with many other electrical devices i have bought, the after sales customer service i received with this product has been exceptional. The makers would seem to be a small dedicated team who respond to emails and work hard to help you. The product itself does what it says on the tin and has proved invaluable in keeping track of where my elderly mother is.
Bought this for our 8yr old son in order for it to give us more confidence in giving him more freedom as he gets older. So far it has worked faultlessly and he loves it.
It takes a lot for me to make any form of review but this product certainly deserves praise. Being a police officer i am fully aware of the impact missing children have on parents. Most cases the child is at a friends house and just not told the parent. I got the pink watch for my 8 year old as she wanted a mobile phone, which is a big no. Just to young and i know this creates many more dangers. This watch allows me to relax whilst she is out playing. The locator and safe zones are great. Not always 100% accurate but as close as you need. My little one loves calling me to tell me she’s going to a different house or that’ she’s on her way home. We live on a small development with one way in and out so very safe but this makes it much safer and gives her a little more independence which is great for life lessons.
Bought this watch for our 7 year old so that he could have a little more independence playing away from the house with his friends. The watch is great as it means we can contact him at any time & vise versa. We can also track where he is at any time. The watch is simple to set up when following the great instructions & most importantly my son can work the watch easily. We have had a couple of technical issues with the watch but each time i have emailed the seller & they have responded almost immediately & have either fixed the problem there & then or have kept me up to date with when it will be resolved. The aftercare service is brilliant & exactly what you need when inevitably sometimes things do go wrong. Would definitely recommend the gator watch. It may be one of the more expensive available but it’s worth every penny.
I bought this watch for my son as he had approached the age where he wanted to play out with children living nearby. This watch gave me the reassurance that he could contact me and vice versa if there were any concerns or just to call him back for tea. Whilst it seems pricey when compared to other gps watches on the market, i read up on customer reviews and the gator watch seemed to have the most accurate gps location on the downloadable app. I have no regrets in buying this product and we take the watch with us whenever we venture out for adventures and found the app to be simple to use and very accurate gps location when out and about.
I’ve tried other gps watches for my kids in the past and they’ve always been a nightmare to set up. However, the gator watch setup is very, very simple. No need to search for a sim, provider and data plan, the watches come with a sim in place which uses multiple networks to ensure the best chance for a signal. Configuring the watch is a breeze – download the app, scan the qr code and you are good to go. The battery lasts for a few days, even when the kids are constantly playing with the voice memos,i did have one small issue with one of our watches – but within a few minutes of reporting the issue via email colleen and her team had sorted the issue and offered to apply a small firmware update to the watch (at no cost to myself) to ensure the issue wouldn’t happen again. I couldn’t recommend techsixtyfour highly enough. The product is great, but more so, the aftersales service is exemplary.
We purchased this watch for our eldest when she was 10 as she wanted to start walking to school without us, but we felt she was too young for a phone. We saw this watch on amazon and decided it was the perfect compromise – peace of mind for us as we could watch her route and call her if we wanted, plus she had the ability to ring us or any of the pre-set numbers we had added. The app is very user friendly – and gives the parent total control over everything on the watch. I had to keep reminding myself to set the volume back to silent during school hours as volume control cacn only be done via the app – and my sister did accidentally call my daughter once during lessons and volume was on full – oopsthere are occassional glitches which are quickly fixed by the company who own the app. There is regular updates via email of any changes, repairs or updates/upgrades. Now my daughter is in secondary school and has her own phone – we are cancelling our contract, but will be re-instating it once our youngest starts walking to school. I really miss not being able to check in on eldest with the gps tracker – but she’s old enough now to venture out without us watching her every move. I would highly recommend this watch to any parent who wants to give their child their first taste of independance but still feel comfortable in knowing you can check where they are without invading their privacy.

Would not be without this watch for my 11 and 7 year olds. Delays the need for mobile phones.
My son is 18, and severely autistic. Next september he goes to college for 3 days a week, and will be working on a farm the other 2 days. As part of this, he needs to be more independent and use public transport. After having looked carefully in to the alternatives, we came to the conclusion that the gator device was the best option out there. I’s not perfect, but the functions and usability are certainly good enough to give us a bit more peace of mind and for us to be able to keep an eye on him even when we’re not physically with him.
The gps tracking works very well and is very accurate. I love the smartphone app – when our kids are out i can see where they are, where they’ve been and we can call each other. Controls are simple enough for children to operate. Gives you real peace of mind in affording your kids their freedom. Its not an apple product so sometimes some functions can be a little ‘clunky’ but these instances are minor and infrequent. Customer support is great too – you get responses within minutes if you do need help and often from colleen herself who founded the business. Best customer support i’ve experienced anywhere.
If you value your child then this watch is one of the most important things to protect your child. Using for 8 months now it has great battery life, looks good, and gives peace of mind. My son aged 10 went on a trip to london and had to phone me in an emergency due to an incident with the adult. I was far away but was able to give his location to police who found him and stayed with him until i arrived. Yes sometimes the calls don’t sound clear as a normal phone & sometimes gps tracking is not 100% but it’s worth every penny and far better than having nothing or alternative cheaper devices.
This is a great cool watch for kids. It gives peace of mind when you are letting your children play out for the first time, it’s very easy to use and you can contact your child in seconds. The sos button is also a great idea that the child can press when nervous or scared. The gps is also very good but there were times when it didn’t catch up to where the child was but a quick reboot sorted that out. The best feature of this watch though are the staff who run the customer service, they are a small business who care and the times i have had to contact them nothing was too much trouble, they would do everything they could to talk you through your issues and if they couldn’t fix it all you had to do was return the watch and it would be fixed and returned to you promptly. Great product, great features and fantastic staff.
I did not like that the watch came without instructions and therefore we had to rely on the internet to seek help. We ended up putting a pay as you go sim card into the phone and opening up the watch when it was not necessary to do so. The no instructions caused us not to use the watch since purchase and remain something yet to resolve by reopening the watch to sort out the mess.
I bought one of these for my son. Easy to set up, good customer support and it works fantastically.
What a simple, elegant and straightforward solution. Exactly what i needed to stay in touch with my daughter without giving her a phone and internet access.
I love this watch, i bought a different brand somewhere else and took it back for a refund then bought gator and it’s really good and i’m happy with it good tracking and easy to use.
This is an update on review. My initial review was 5 star. Unfortunately, it won’t allow me to add another star. I bought this watch for my daughter for xmas ’18. After a couple of teething problems rectified by a call from colleen from customer service on xmas night everything works great. My daughter doesn’t leave the house without it, if she ever goes out of the ‘safe zone’ i get an immediate notification. 8 months later i started getting problems with the watch, after a couple emails, and once again, a call from customer service, all in the gator world is good again. This watch is made to the highest of standards and customer service is second to none.
Very pleased with this watch , after care service is excellent, our granddaughter is autistic and with the tracker on here we now no where she is , and this enables her to have more freedom , easy to operate as well she can phone us on our mobiles when she needs too.
Love the watch – best thing ever for a child. Gives you peace of mind knowing you can track and contact your child – also gives them some independence. Just wish we had bought it earlier.

I purchased this product for my daughters 9th birthday as she wanted to play out with her friends on her bike locally. I had kept on saying no to her until i came across the gps gator watch. Honestly i can’t praise this product & company enough. I allowed my daughter to go out on her own and i could call her anytime & she could call me, i also was able to set a location boundary so that if she went out of that specific area it would alert me & i could track exactly where she was on the street map. I could also add her friends parents numbers into the watch & her friends could call their parents & they could call them too. It was the best birthday gift i’ve ever gotten her as she had her freedom finally and i had peace of mind whilst she was out. The set up was so easy & im not in the slightest bit tech savvy. I chose to pay the £11 a month fee & can cancel it anytime which is great so im not tied into a contract. I emailed the company a question on a sunday evening thinking they’ll see it in a few days and i couldn’t believe it but they emailed me straight back with my question answered. Buying this watch was the best decision i ever made, they can wear it when on school trips, play dates, day trips with family, holidays, the uses are endless i can’t recommend it enough.
We bought two gators for our kids, one boy, one girl, when they moved up to secondary school. Both kids thought the watches cool and we liked that they aren’t too big on their wrists. The functionality of the watches and the ability to see where the kids are is great and reassuring. In terms of support, the team at techsixtyfour have given great service and are always on hand to assist. Despite saying that they will reply within 24 hours, they invariably get back to any questions within 30 minutes and this is greatly appreciated.
The battery lasts about two days from a full charge. When the child is out and about the gps history shows the lines of where the child has been but the lines seem to dart about from location to location. So if they were on a train, it would show the line from one station to another but not travelling along the tracks. The child can call people on the watch and leave voicemails, but i have found that for some reason it only like to call two out of the three people i put on the call list. However, i sneaked the watch into my child’s bag when she went on a school trip and was able to watch her arrive and leave the destination with accurate timing. School will not allow the child to wear on trips as they class it as a phone. I think this is madness as if the child went missing then they could call a grown up for help, but schools have there own ideas. Teacher had no idea it was hidden in the bag though, so ha ha to her. Does give an accurate location of where the child is, but can sometime flicker between rooms or buildings. Takes some getting use too, and i am still figuring it out regarding calls.

We didn’t want him to be sucked into another device yet wanted him to feel safe and start being independent. He now walks confidently round the corner to his youth group and we know he has arrived as gps tracking on it is pinpoint. He feels more confident to have sleep overs and it looks great too. In fact loads of other kids (even the older kids with mobile phones) are wanting one now. Customer service is brilliant – what an amazing company100% recommend this product.
Took a little time to set up the watch correctly, you have to make sure all the numbers are correctly entered as per the instructions. When it’s set up, it works perfectly. Tracking function works and updates regularly and you can make and receive calls to the watch easily. Customer service is the best i’ve ever had with any product.They reply to emails almost instantly, they call you if you need any assistance, literally couldn’t do any more to help you. Even offered to replace my watch and send me a new one when i was on holiday and said for me not to worry and return the one i had when i got home but luckily they helped me resolve the problem over the phone.
We have two watches for our 9yo & 7yo children. We take them on holiday and when the children are going on school journeys. I have the app on my phone and can pinpoint where the children are. We can contact them (or vice versa) when need be – but this has never been needed apart from the initial purchase to see if they worked, which they do perfectly. I have emailed the company twice since having the watches, once for user error. Oops and another when the watches said we were still in bali when we were back home. Both times i received responses within 2 minutes with advise on how to rectify the errors and every time we have had fantastic customer service and support. These watches have been an added support of security for us, as our youngest son is on the autistic spectrum so when he is on school trips i can pinpoint his whereabouts without being one of those neurotic parents actually following the school bus (sorry to all my fellow neurotic parents 
)overall i do recommend this watch and have done to all of my friends.
Bought this watch for my 10 year old son who has adhd and could not be trusted with a phone as he would lose it (and often himself). It’s a christmas present so he hasn’t used it yet, but i haveit is very easy to set up and use. You activate the watch by chosing a plan – £9 for a year contract, £11 for no contract. Both with 1 hour of calls, calculated by the second, not the nearest minute. We chose the £11 in case he breaks ityou are then sent an activation email within 48 hours. This provides you with the watch telephone number and detailed instructions, linked to you tube videos. Just download the gator 3 app and the watch is more or less controlled from that. Can add 10 numbers – the first is the ‘master number’ which has control over the phone and app. My partner has also downloaded the app which needs a verification code (contained in the ‘master phones ‘ app) and he can see what i can see.
This watch is awesome and the service second to nonehad the watch a couple of months now, which i purchased based on the strong reviews on here where i noted the comments about excellent service. I had looked at a number of options and these comment sealed the deal for me as was confident if it was not all i hoped it to be i would be looked after. The watch is well made and my 5 1/2 year old son loves the blue. Not a mark on it as yet so is definitely proving to be robust to survive my boy.The functionally is exactly what i wanted (no games or gimmicks) and he was able to pick up straight away how to call us and answer calls. Gps tracking is really good within about the 10m so reassuring to know we could locate him if he wandered off and call him to tell him to stay puti have started off with the monthly £11 tariff but pretty sure am gonna go for the £9 annual contract as he is more than happy to wear it (and show it off) and the novelty has not worn off at all. He doesn’t wear it every day but at weekends whenever we leave the house it goes straight on happily. The service has lived up to the hype. Email queries have been responded to in minutes(both times on a saturday) and when requested a call back received in 5 after i messed this up by deleting the watch in the app. Colleen really goes the extra mile for her customers.

This tracker watch has proven a real hit with our 7 year old son and us as parents. So accurate at tracking his movements we can even see when he’s gone from one neighbour’s house to the next. He loves that he can check in with us whenever he needs to and vice versa. We don’t want him to have a phone at such a young age and this is an excellent compromise. I’m not the most technically minded and benefitted from the excellent technical support. We had an incident which resulted in damaged watch face. This was replaced free of charge and it’s now good as new. Couldn’t be happier with the service. Planning to purchase another for 4.
I bought this for my autistic son so he can call me if he needs reassurance and i can find him using the tracker if he’s skating around the park and i loose sight of him. We both love it as it makes him feel safer and happier knowing he can get hold of me if he panics. Customer service was also superb as they called me back within the hour and talked me through how to use it. Very impressed and highly recommend :).
Absolute fantastic product and customer services from all at techsixtyfour. Firstly, product looks great…. Vibrant pink and exactly the type of colour and look my 7 year old daughter loves. It works great, easy to use and extremely precise gps. I bought this for my daughter who at 7 year old has starting asking about getting a mobile phone who has been given more of a free reign when it comes to playing with her friends out of the confines of the house and garden. A phone is an obvious choice as i could contact her right away. However i was dead against buying a 7 year old a phone…. For one where does a 7 year old keep a mobile phone?. They don’t have deep enough pockets for one so it would be a matter of time before it came back damaged or lost. I had done a bit of research on alternatives and the gps watch was obvious.
