Technically perfect but not the simplest to set up or use. The biggest failing is that this model is advertised as an aid for seniors who suffer from dementia but the tiny low-vis buttons and technically complex interface are very hard for anyone a bit shaky or confused to get to grips with.
So helpful as my husband has had a brain injury, this has been so helpful when we are out and about. Any problems i have had, have been answered so quickly and efficiently by eimear from their help team. Way beyond what i was expecting.
Very pleased with this watch so far. The set up is straight forward, instructions were email and i followed the 6 simple steps and was able to see my dad’s location within 1 hour of setting the watch up. There is a monthly subscription of £8. 99 but this is common for the other gps products i looked into. It’s well worth it for the piece of mind i’ll get for using this. I’ll do another review after a month, but on initial impressions i would recommend this watch.
This product really is amazing. It has loads of great features and is really easy setup and navigate the menu and features. The watch has an sos button which allows the user to contact any of the stored users/watchers. You can track the location of the watch and even look back at historicle movements. I would highly recomend this to anyone that needs to keep a close eye on a family member that could be vunerable or the watch could be used for co workers that work in a lone worker or vunerable environment.
I found the gps worked very well, the phone was clear, as was the ‘listen in’ feature. It looks like a normal watch, very easy for my 5yr old to use.
I can’t rate this any higher . This has helped keep my dad safe. He has dementia and likes to go for walks we can keep track of him at all times. The support from customer service was fantastic recently when we needed help. Very easy to set up and definitely value for money.
Have purchased this watch for a family member with alzheimer’s assured staff have been wonderful with assisting in setting the watch upearly days but it is already giving us piece of mind knowing if they get lost or worried we can be contacted plus it looks just like a watch so they are happy to wear it.
I ordered this devise as my wife (53) has early onset alzheimer’s disease. She is still active but easily confused. This watchover gives incredible peace of mind, when we’re apart i can see exactly where she is at all time and i can phone her on the watch, it’s a fantastic devise. I also want to add that the customer support service i received is second to none. The people in dublin, ireland where i am based simply could not have been more helpful in setting up the devise etc. Couldn’t recommend this product strongly enough.
The below review was my original review. After i posted that review watchovers contacted me and said they wanted to resolve the situation. They offered to send me a replacement watch that they would set up. They said i could try it out for a while and decide whether to keep it. The replacement watch has worked. My second experience of watchovers has been much more positive. I have decided to keep the watch and my daughter (who i bought the watch for) and i are happy with it. Amended review 3*original review 1*if i could give this 0 stars i would. Stage 1 of the instructions worked (set up subscription). Stage 2 is plug in charger and a battery sign should appear and you should be able to switch on the watch. Called watchovers support number which is supposed to be open 8-8 monday to saturday. 30pm on saturday said office closed. Live email support is also not live. After several hours of charging battery sign appeared. After several more hours of charging i was able to switch watch on but it only stayed on for 2 seconds then switched itself off. After wasting many hours of trying to charge this watch over the weekend i got an email response from watchovers customer support monday morning saying they will investigate why their office was closed on saturday and attaching the set up guide and asking have i plugged in the charger correctly. Obviously i had as i have been using the set up guide all weekend. So the only assistance provided is an email implying i cannot read instructions.
Has made the world of difference for peace of mind as the parent of a young adult with additional support needs. We were sent a new buckle when the first broke due to vigorous handling by the young adult. When we had a problem with the watch it was repaired without cost. The only problem we had with how it worked was the occasional difficulty with a gps fix in problem areas. The peace of mind this watch provides has enabled the young adult to increasingly become more independent.
Found it excellent,have “ lost “ my partner who has alzheimer’s a few times and have tracked him done. He struggled with the white button but is getting the hang off it now,he can’t understand the phone part. Found the strap a bit flimsy. But family are made up with it ,peace of mind when he goes walking.
I like the way this watch can track where my husband is as long as it outside and for a long distance but the down fall is its not very loud as a phone, i find that if i ring him he doesn’t hear it and when i speak though it to let him know i’m near buy he still doesn’t hear me, he wears it under his jacket so that doesn’t help but its is still to quite to hear for an elderly person, my husband does where hearing aids, would have been nice if there had been a volume switch on it. The time, date and whether its am or pm works well. I like the way you are not tied into a set contract and can cancel at anytime at £8. 00 a month its not too bad but i may have to rethink this one as a phone it not that good for and elderly person who is suffering with dementia.
Still to fully test this watch but found the set-up not to be user friendly. The assistance i received from watchovers was second to none. I find everywhere these days, customer service is sadly lacking, but these guys bucked the trend and eimear could not have done more to assist. I oook forward to receiving the watch back so i can give to my friend with alzheimers so we can track him if he wanders off. A great device for keeping track of the kids or indeed the elderly. With up to 16 users possible on one watch and multiple alarms. The watch also provides a level of freedom for the wearer that might not have been afforded previously. In the event of an emergency the sos alarm, call features, silent listening and tracking features are a great way to locate a loved one quickly. The alert messaging also sends alerts to the app in the event of an sos, when geo-zones are breached or when the watch has a low battery. You do need a subscriptions for calling features however this is opt out anytime so if you are just going to holidays you can sign up for that month and then opt out.
I bought my assure watch about 1 month ago and it’s really good. We use it every day and are very happy with it. This is the 2nd gps watch we have had and this is much better than the first one. When i was setting it up i contacted customer service a couple of times and they were really helpful. Overall i would recommend it.
This phone/watch is actually the product of the century. I have an elderly dad that is unable to use a mobile phone. But in fact this is so much better as not only can i phone him but i can also track him via gps. So i know where he is and it’s just great peace of mind. Also it’s works in bad coverage areas. I have no alliance to this company but for so late no i had anxiety worrying about my dad do it’s just fantastic to be able to track him. I will actually be purchasing 2 more for my kids. I highly highly recommend this product.
Whilst purchasing there was no mention of a charge of £6. 99 for a sim sent it straight back do the same on my phone.
Had a few problems setting it up but customer support was first class.

Easy to setup when i actually read the instructions and quick response to email sent to the help desk even on a weekend. Gps will give you a really good location, and if you needed to find a vulnerable person it would certainly be a massive massive help.
